//I feel sorry for the poor, put-upon kids who'll end up having this crapola forced on them. Suffer the poor little children.//

It is more work from the psychological nudge teams from the Ministry of Wishful Thinking. After the blurring of gender awareness they now want to encourage, not only the acceptance, but the positive benefits of being disabled or injured. "Please mummy can I have a leg removed"?
Sorry, I still dont understand.

It's film quote (from There Will Be Blood).

Got it slightly wrong. It's milkshake rather than milk.

"what on earth have the Tories got to do with Mattel?"

Apart from being an assorment of oddly-shaped, unthinking plasic replicas of human beings you mean?
you may well be right, ymb; but I don't think they'll be expecting a huge uptake; the dolls are just there for anyone who thinks their child might like one. And collectors and completists.

What a crock, Monsieur!
SP, why did you write that at me, I didnt say that at all - even if you wish I had.

In fact as the parent of a disabled child I put a point over.

I have not anywhere said it shouldnt happen, just trying to have a grown up conversation and then you launch into me with something I havent said - again.

Yes. Didn't you notice fatticus's puns. Worcester than mine, believe it or not.

Sorry - eyes aren't working properly this afternoon.
// I thought he was asking somebody to perlease buy him one, pasta//
and then he can stab it with a pair of mathematical compasses before French grammar at fwee !

I dont expect this to last very long
the only reason anyone objects to this is that it is perceived as being vaguely "left wing" and that's enough to set some people off
