As there are so many Boris-knockers out there I thought it would be a jolly good wheeze if I had the honour of creating a collected work of Starmer speeches. Think ahead. It would be a fabulous gift for friends and families at Christmas. I realise the demand will be huge so I'd be grateful if you could give me your credit cards details as soon as possible. It will be something for future generations to treasure, something that your grandchildren will be able to pass on to their children. Thank you for being part of the Listening Community.

In comparison to Johnson. As I’ve constantly said, he won’t be a hard act to fillies, will he?

He was found to have lied over Pincher even before the PSC sits this summer so Starmer trumps him on trustworthy and competent because he’s never waffles on about Kermit, Pepper Pig nor become forgetful and sketchy over details when meeting people at parties(nobody told him) or suffering memory loss when meeting former KGB agents whilst alone, a matter of utmost national security.

You really can’t continually compare nor contrast Johnson’s woeful record on all the qualities required to be a statesman, he was shocking, both in his behaviour and demeanour.
Yes I can.
*follow, not fillies! Christ knows how that got in there!

Ok, continue to appear foolish at your leisure, perpetually defending the indefensible, a PM bereft of honour, trust and dignity.

Do carry on.
Fatt: Get a grip. Starmer is utterly useless. If you're a socialist choose a socialist leader. If you want a bland, boring idiot vote LibDem.
Sigh……

Who mentioned socialism? I don’t vote, I’ve got no political affiliation.
As I’ve already said, Starmer needs to up his game massively but that aside, the opposition parties don’t really have to do a lot at the moment uk make any ground, the Tory government is in disarray and the next PM will be from the Johnson cabinet, a skid mark that’ll be aired publicly at every opportunity from now until the GE by any and every half-decent opposition MP.
It’s leopards and spots and all that, the Tory brand is in the gutter because of the fiasco that was Johnson’s tenure and they’ve run out of time to rectify a mess of their own making, the public have had enough of the same old, same old.
They’ll be thinking that nobody can be any worse than the present lot so let’s give them a go, but it’ll undoubtedly be a hung Parliament.
*to not uk.
Keyboard gremlins abound today!
May I nominate ymb’s post at 15.44 for best answer?
I suspect that the Tory party will not want a dusky-skinned Hindu as their next prime minister. I don't think they will be very thrilled to have Ms Truss either, but I suspect that they will go for her.
His skin colour is irrelevant, atheist. It’s far from his worst feature.
Fatt: 'It will undoubtedly be a hung parliament'. So you know what will happen in the next 18 months. Ridiculous.
\\ They’ll have it dragged up ad infinitum that they sat back as he partied in lockdown whilst the country followed their rules...//
Therein lies the problem, everybody is more concerned with pointing out the mistakes of the past instead of wanting to improve the future.

Well, there’s a few on here who post not dissimilarity to yourself who already know that the Tories will win easily, Labour will be beaten into the dust ad nauseam etc but they’re never challenged on that?
How odd.

One continually used to bleat about Johnson being the next PM blah blah blah yet he didn’t even complete a full term of office, despite having his on on staying until 2030, only some 3 days before his departure.
We can all make predictions, some turn theirs into nailed-on guarantees, only to look rather foolish shortly after.
Mine’s a prediction, nothing more.
Naomi; I think his skin colour is irrelevant, but I worry that there will be tories who think differently.

One might reasonably opine that a change of government is necessary then, the present one doesn’t appear trustworthy or competent right now.
I mean, one does have to question how one candidate reckons he has all the answers, yet whilst chancellor is responsible for our current cost of living crisis, is he not?
If he has all the answers, we didn’t he implement them whilst in office??
Fatticusinch, what a load of hot air you spout - and your fondness for your own voice is relentless. You’re ‘opining’ that a change of government is necessary but it’s laughable because you’re doing nothing to facilitate that. You don’t vote so you’ll be stuck with what you get.

Atheist, unlike most, you see colour in everything and that serves only to exacerbate prejudice.

of course you can!
is it complete rubbish?
ter daah !

Fatticus-fantastic ( this makes up for TTT stupidity) can you stop being beastly to Naomi - it is unedifying to see a blameless lady mercilessly ridiculed on a daily basis
Rishi Sunak is wrong. It doesnt matter who is the leader, the electorate will vote for which party offers the best future.
"End of" Gully?

If you're so certain, I'm sure there could be someone on here who would stake a cheeky wager on that with you...
