Lets Rejoin the single market to help ease the cost of living crisis, says a senior Tory MP. Even if it means ( Accepting E/U Regulations) and (Freedom of Movement) The decision to leave the S/M which was not on the Ballot paper in the .
2016 Ref, has had adverse consequences,
£20 Bn pounds lost in exports and the Irish border problem ,
..These Problems would quickly disappear.....
.. If we Re- joined the single market......Oh dear.

These remainders are so tiresome. Backdoor Billys.
remainers anti brexiters, your in space suits breathing in your own flatulence of remain gas, i think its making you giddy and delusional.
it's the jubilee weekend, breath in some air of freedom and democracy!

When Hymie posts “Brexit is a disaster” as he often does as though it is a fact, I really do wish he’d lead with “I think” followed by “although I can’t say why”.

I voted remain.
Hymie takes his lead from his hero Gulliver.

I Think most Brits Now realise that voting for Brexit was a huge mistake, and they were Conned into voting out ,
by Boris ,who gave false information and told so many lies just to get himself elected as P/M .
Unfortunately most of the British Public and 95% of abers fell for it . "Hook Line and Sinker"
More garbage from gully, the resident clown.
// I Think most Brits Now realise that voting for Brexit was a huge mistake //

if that's true as you maintain, then any political party that campaigns on a platform of returning to the EU will landslide the next election. at this time, no party is running on any sort of EU membership ticket. why is that?
no -
even tho industry is squawking that the extra paper work means more overheads,

gully admit it, your a troll and neither care about brexit or britain.
Gully, nobody was conned. A few couldn't understand English, and a few couldn't understand democracy.
The single market only is not ok. We make our own trade decisions as a sovereign nation. We do not pass control to some unelected unsympathetic undemocratic untrustworthy bunch of elites to tell us what we must and must not do. Good grief, how many times does this need stating ?

And who is this idiotic senior Tory MP anyway ?
"It would solve the NI issue at a stroke." And replace it with a worse situation where democracy is ignored. Plus there are better options. S. Ireland could opt to leave the EU and that would "solve it at a stroke".

"Surely it’s not beyond the wit of both sides to come to some form of arrangement". It's not being beyond the required wit to come to an arrangement, that's missing, it's the desire of one side to cause problems in retaliation of a member nation leaving. Although I grant you, their true agenda seems witless to normal folk.

Correct ! Thats why they voted leave.

I propose that theTory MP, who proposed rejoining the single market, which could be the Gateway for the UK to eventually rejoining the E/U should replace Boris.. NOW!
If Deskdiary was to read my numerous posts on Brexit – the reasons (based on facts) for Brexit being a disaster for the UK (and that is not just the billions of pounds in lost exports), they would agree the disaster Brexit is.

There is no ‘I think’, or ‘although I can’t say why’ about it.
We regained sovereignty. So clearly there's no disaster whatsoever (unless you count the EU reaction, over which no one has rational control).

"No !", to free movement of goods & services, and especially, "No !", to free movement of capital & people (except over designated exception borders where special concessions may apply in the interest of peace).
