I didn't call her a fish wife. And it's nothing to do with being a Tory supporter Gulliver. She just is somewhat uncouth and loud. //
Ms Rayner is justifiably proud of her ability to rise from her difficult upbringing, and rise to her current position as an MP and Deputy Party Leader.
I think it is also something of a matter of pride that she has made not attempt to 'smooth out' her somewhat strident speaking voice, and she clearly relishes her ability to fight it out on a equal footing against the opposition, many of whom despise her not only for her origins, but also for her gender.

//Some abers have made nasty comments about a woman they know nothing about.//
That simply isnt true though is it? There is plenty of video evidence that can enable people to make their mind up quite accuratly.
If you are saying her private profile is totally different to her public one then you are implying she is totally false.
Which is it?

Sorry Andy, but I don't see that at all. And she doesn't do us women any favours by acting as she does. And I can't see any evidence of her being despised by Tory menfolk for her origins or gender.
And Anne I have seen (or perhaps heard) enough of her to make justified decision on what I think of her use of language!
I see this whole thing as more an attack on Boris than on Angela.
Anybody who has to sit down for long periods is quite likely to cross and uncross their legs. The idea that a man in his late fifties loses his concentration when a woman in her early forties does this is not saying much about the man!
If Rayner wanted to issue a "come on", it might look more like this ...

Then perhaps you should aquaint yourself with the recent media nonsense that has started this discussion.
It is Ms Rayner's gender, and the frankly disgusting suggestion from one or more gutless anonymous MP's that she is using that gender to 'distract' their leader, which has generated this thread.
And in turn, their spiteful childish nonsense says little about Mr Johnson's ability to concentrate on his job, rather than focusing on some imagined 'distraction' opposite.

Re the Johnson tweet.
Dorries obviously put her name to the tweet and resent it on.
Chris Philp "MP" ! on Sky News this morning insists it was not retweet but one she made up herself. Newscaster says do you mean that two people at different laptops at different times write the same words with the exact same punctuation. Philip says yes perfectly possible for that to happen. What a waste of space. These are the people trying to run the country
