I am fast becoming of the belief we must oust these people who are masquerading as Conservatives. OK, it might mean 5 years of labour as we are a two party system, but honestly now COB has gone could it really be any worse?

Sunak, I used to be a champion of him, doesn't seem to have a ruddy clue. An insult of 5p, which lets face it will end up in the retailers pocket, no vat on green solar panels - what is the man thinking? And the highest taxes for a long time, yes Sunak I can see through what you are doing.

So I say, time for another Party for five years and lets hope the Tories oust these 'greens' can become a proper Conservative Party again. At present I can see no alternative.

And before the usual start on Covid and the war. Yes it has been tough, but what exactly was the 27Bn spent on track and trace spent on and who has it? Where did all the furlough money go? Where did all the PPE go? It smacks to me Covid is the simple excuse for bad management.

No links plenty in all the press.

gromit: "Tora thinks it is impossible for the Tories to lose the next election. But their record is both very bad, and they come over as being very uncaring. " - well real Labour have not won since 1974, if you think that will change half a century later, my bet still stands, £20 to chirridee, the PM after the 2024 election will be Tory. You in?
In answer to the OP. No.
It seems the OP is complaining that the current government isn't tory enough. I can't see how electing Labour would cure that problem!
After all this country has been through - and got through - over the past several years if it's time for anything it's time for moaners to stop moaning and bringing the country down all the time. Vote Labour at your peril.
You are like a broken record Tora.
I confess I can't see why, in particular if your aim is to frustrate the green agenda, you'd think this would be achieved by voting Labour.
Gromit //You are like a broken record Tora.//
Pot calling kettle.
A 1p cut in Income Tax set for a few weeks before the next General Election in 2024.

That is pretty cynical.
Worst economy in thirty Years I blame the BBC.
Brexit.... Boris ......Conservatives... end of.
Gromit, //That is pretty cynical. //

That is pretty dishonest. Not a word about a 'few weeks' before the next election.

//the basic rate of tax would fall from 20p to 19p before end of this Parliament //

gromit, so you don't believe your own rhetoric then?
the anti Tories just ignore the non stop crises over the last 2 years.

Can’t be bothered discussing your gambling addiction again.

zzzzz
A good Government thieves in a crisis.
Most of this Government’s problems are of their own making.
Thieves?
It does seem to me a daft idea to cut fuel tax, politically as much as anything else, as the price is going to likely rise sharply in the coming months, making the reduction invisible
I always thought that the elected government, no matter which, had the interests of the country and it's people at its heart. Have been sadly disillusioned these past few years. Man mind thyself springs to mind.
Oh dear, Maggie. Will you not be voting SNP in future then?
Naomi,
Even for a Boris fanboy, that is pretty lame.

// A cut in income tax for the first time in 16 years has been pledged before the end of the current parliament in 2024. //

Which is when the next General Election will take place.
