Perfectly normal to dispose of stuff that hasn't been used in ages, shelf space is needed for storing the much anticipated Ma Kampf, soon to be available in all hotel drawers courtesy of the Gid Yins.
Maybe they could donate them to a wee, friendly Oxfam shop to sell. I am sure that we could sell them. :-)

they don;t even have words more most things, have you ever heard a Welsh/Gaelic sports commentary? it's 50% English anyway. It's a form of child abuse in my opinion.

It's a crying shame that literature is destroyed - some educational may well have been out of date but Wolfie's suggestion is a good one.

I think 'most things' means relatively recent inventions and 'most' is actually 'a few'.
