^^^^from Android tablet to my PC
Can you send emails from your Android tablet? If so, do that and add the video as an attachment. What email do you use?
I've just re-read your post. Who received the email - you or the company?
Question Author
thanks Barry - outlook from email - as I said I sent an email - the problem is the attachment - that's where I fall down - how do you send the attachment from the Android
Question Author
it does come up saying - files you are trying to send exceed 25mg total attachment limit - my video is 41 secs - is that too long
Question Author
I sent the email to myself ie from jennyjoan to jennyjoan - but the video didn't go -
Question Author
my video is 49 secs
Question Author
I have done video again this time 17seconds but it is still saying too big which is definitely wrong. I need to send it as an attachment.
It is not the length of the video but it's size. So many mg.
Question Author
my neighbour came over - she's quite techie - but couldn't do it. I'll get one of the young ones in the street to do it.

Retake the video and try reducing the resolution eg, if you are using 1080P reduce it and the same length of video will result in a smaller file to send.
Upload your video file to here: https://easyupload.io/

Copy the download link that's produced and send the link (rather than the video) to the company. [Simply write something like "The video you requested is available for download from here . . . "].

thanks Chris - only in from hairdressers so just seeing this - I don't even know how to upload!
Go to my link. Click (or tap) in the box. Navigate to the location of your video file and select it from there. (On a PC or laptop, all you need to do is to double-click on it. I can't recall ever having done it from an Android phone myself, but it will be largely similar). Then click the purple 'Upload' button.
Question Author
thanks Chris - the video was taken on Android tablet and to be honest I don't think I can copy it to your link. Think (I don't know really know) I just need to get it as an attachment to the email address.
Email services deliberately limit the file sizes of attachments in order to avoid clogging up their servers with large files. It's simply not possible to send big files directly by email. You have to use an intermediary service, such as the one I've suggested above.

Connect your phone to your PC or laptop by using its charging cable. You'll then see you phone appear as an external drive on your computer, in much the same way as a USB pen drive appears when you plug it in. Look the folders to locate your video file. Then (on your computer, not on your phone) go to the upload link I've given you. Click in the box, navigate to the location of the file, double-click on it and click the purple 'Upload' button.
Question Author
err Chris - I don't have any kind of phone
^^^ I should have written 'tablet' rather than phone.
Question Author
ok thanks Chris - maybe give that a wee go tomorrow.
Question Author
got young girl to do it - she brought the photo up, created a link, it automatically came as an email site - ie from me to the company and it worked.
