blimey god forbid - but it sounds as tho she expects to die during her jubilee year
oh I think so, ladybirder. jno jnr at 12 was well taller than any of the kids in my class at that age, boys or girls. He's about 4 inches taller than his dad despite growing up on a diet of junk food that simply didn't exist in our day. Watching him at school, it was clear most of them were bigger than we ever were - and there's another generation behind him now; goodness knows how high they'll go.

///In 1967, Mr Average was 5ft 7.5in tall, weighed 11st 8lbs and had a chest of 38 inches and a waist of 34 inches.
He had size seven feet, a collar size of 14.5 and a life expectancy of just 68.
Fast forward 50 years, however, and British men have grown significantly.
The average British man is now 5ft 10in tall, weighs 13st 3lbs and has a chest of 43in and a waist of 37in.///

just to add, that's from 5 years ago; they've probably expanded another few millimetres since then.
Mine got bigger the more I had jno;-)). So the older I got ... LOL.
yes, I'd be a great financial investor - I haven't just kept the figure I had in my youth, I've doubled it.
oh and of course I've just looked up William and he's 6ft 2, so much the same increase in height as in our family.
Translation: the Queen doesn't want Camilla to be the Queen when Charles becomes King.
You reading it differently to everyone else then?

//"Queen Consort" refers to the spouse of a ruling king and would mean "Queen Camilla" as her future title//
So why didn't she call hubby King Phillip ?
There was no King Albert when Victoria was queen either.
Queen consort is different to just Queen I think.

Who gives a damn anyway? (apart from them). Most of us are thinking about how to pay the bills etc.
You give a damn, you had to have a dig at it.
This is true T. It appears being an mistress is no barrier to anything now .
true, anne, even an adulterous one, even if you're head of the church. Well, I suppose I wouldn't want anyone's life wrecked the way Margaret's was; but I wonder if it isn't time the church was disestablished. (I suppose Scots would have to do this separately?)
I don't though mam. I'm happy for the Royals to do what they want. It's the fawning from the public that puzzles me a bit.
Jno. Who knows. But in the future the country will have a king and queen who were adulterers .
If the people of the country are happy enough with that that is there prerogative.
They are all just people. We should respect them as such and for doing a good job as most of them have.

I don’t care if Charles was an adulterer, I wasn’t married to him so didn’t affect me.
I think Camilla should get the recognition she deserves. She's taken a lot of flak over the years and has never been anything but dignified.
