People need to stop clambering onto the holier than thou bandwagon and get back to basics , this couple should have said ‘0kayyy’ and took themselves off to another bakers , No, they decide to ruin a craftsman’s business and have the shop shut and take the matter to court , the right decision was made to kick it out, I hope the baker can reopen with three times the...

Really Sparkly kid - you surprise me!!
Sparkly Kid - // Personally I do not support gay marriage.

If that makes me a prejudiced bigot I have no problem with that.

Over to you AH, lol. //

Fantastic, good for you.

I'm chuffed as ten bears for you.
Don't support gay marriage?

Then don't get gay married....simple.

Nicely done!!!
//Nicely done!!!// - and all the rest.

Really? Honestly its like the school playground on here sometimes.

It is, and you should know, you play here frequently!!

A little wit and levity makes the day go smoother.
That's the sound of footsteps going off into the distance in search of another pointless stance to pontificate about.
I am surely entitled to my belief that a gay marriage is an abomination against nature.

i was responding to you when you questioned NJ's "Neither party broke the law" stance, which is as it is today, now.
To be clear, the European Court hasn't said that they agree with the original result, just that they're not going to look at the case (yet).

Either way, still a good result. They weren't discriminated against.

Of course you are - do you believe that anyone is suggesting otherwise?
I dont agree with you but you most certainly are SK.

Bye then - don't be a stranger...
//I am surely entitled to my belief that a gay marriage is an abomination against nature.//

And that by publicly saying so, you think that you are upsetting someone you don't like!
lol that person is a 100 times better than that!

I think they absolutely were - possibly not in the eyes of the law, and in terms of a provable court case, but discrimination was clearly evident, and I doubt even the bakers would gainsay that.

I don't think it's that Redhelen, I think Sparkly is simply poking the bear.

He is determined to keep stating his position, hoping to get a reaction, and failing.
Would that person be Elton John Red ?
My position is no less secure than anyone else's.
//He is determined to keep stating his position, hoping to get a reaction, and failing.//

Oh just like a child!
Unless there was another customer that had the same or similar cake baked for them by the same bakery, then that couple weren't discriminated against.

It's not just in the eyes of the law, it's simple logic.
