Over the last few days there has been a plethora of posts on AB critical of Boris Johnson.

It would appear that most ABers have woken up to the fact that Boris is a totally inappropriate person to hold the office of Prime Minister. Even TTT is unwilling to express his undying adoration for this fool.

Before this furore, I pointed out that Boris is not a suitable person to be put in charge of the stationery cupboard. All his history was there to be seen, from being sacked from his job twice for lying (three times, if you count Michael Howard sacking him), giving his lover a £126k contract from his employer – believing there was no requirement to disclose this relationship (even denying the relationship) believing he had done nothing wrong – claiming he knew nothing of who paid for the refurbishment of 10 Downing St., etc, etc.

Just how long can this clown hang on?

Traditionally Tora, you know full well I am. Unfortunately, recent versions of the Labour party has left me in political limbo.
Naomi- //Some lies are ok - others not. Shades of Animal Farm.//

Clearly not what I said Naomi, but you know that full well. All political lies are wrong, but people are more judgemental of those perpetrated by those they oppose.
current Labour is traditional Labour, that's why they are unelectable. So you consider yourself a Tory Lite supporter then?
TGT @18.10 Wouldn't know about Paper Tigers..
But The Collective name for Boris supporters is
..... "Paper Hats"...is that any help to you.?
Nope, but until the sort out the issues that have seem to have ifiltrated the party (the antisemitism, the lack of leadership...) They will not have my vote.
so would you vote Lib Non Dem or not vote at all?
Until they sort out their identity, i will not vote for any of them. Not voting and voting Lib Dem is virtually the same thing. Locally, I would probably vote Labour as we have had fairly close Tory/Labour battles of recent times.
/// an unnecessary surfeit of critical posts.///

Much like with Jeremy Corbyn before the last GE - but that's different of course :-D

I don't see any undying adoration there. I just quoted Electoral Calculus.
glad you pointed that post out though, I just relived this little gem from Gromit:
"Definitely don’t want electable at any cost. ToryLite was a con on everyone. The Labour Party sold its soul to the devil to get the bankers and Murdoch's approval. " - thanks I'm enjoying re reading that.

hymie's the one who needs checking out. I'm still waiting for an example of "undying adoration".

That would make The One Show a bit more interesting.

If someone was to post on this site that I was an ardent Boris supporter – and I responded that I was no such thing, and had never posted any support for Boris. And then they posted a selection of my posts supporting Boris – I would be grateful that they had pointed out that I was probably going mad.
still waiting for examples of me "expressing undying adoration" hymie. I have never denied being a supporter.
