but APG, how can that be true? I have seen it authoritatively stated on this very thread that all the immigrants are male, not women, and they have no intention of looking for work, their only plan is to hire lawyers.
'yes Zacs I'm completely nuts. I wasn't before I started to visit AB though.'

I only have your word for that. Maybe some time away might help?
Zacs you'll have to do better than that -you are well and truly out-beeched on here at the moment. :-)
I donnnn't thiiiiink so.
then fill your boots, its mildly distracting.
Hi Zac I hope all is good now with your daughter?

(Apologies dave50)
its mildly distracting

Did you mean "it's" mildly distracting?

Bobbi - slowly slowly still. Thanks for asking.
There has got to be a multi national approach to weed out the human trafficking gangs.
In future we should house the illegal entants in the Life Boat Stations. Bet they wouldn't be so eager to "save" them then.
I wonder where the SNSM, (standing for Société Nationale de Sauvetage en Mer, the French equivalent of the RNLI ) is in all of this.
^^^^
Probably hiding in their life boat stations.
There is a sentence in the latest BBC report on English Channel migrant crossings that is just exquisite. Thursday saw 1,000 people arrive in Britain unauthorised — a new record — and the story on the Corporation’s website explains how UK Border Force boats, as well as lifeboats, ferried the arrivals to Dover. However, it added:

‘A Whitehall source accused France of losing control of the situation.’

It’s a line worthy of Swift. Britain is seeing record levels of illegal migration, the Home Office is running a maritime Uber service, and somehow it’s all the French’s fault. Some wonder why the Boris Johnson era hasn’t produced any great political satire but who could take the competition? This may be the first government that satirises itself.

The Spectator
i wonder what britain will look like in 50yrs demographically, will the nhs collpase along with the benefits system, as i think it cannot be sustained with the inflow of immigrants, let alone civil unrest and massive ghettos and no go areas, doom monger perhaps, paranoid
mmm maybe end up like the american welfare and medical system or worse, your predicitons...
fender62 - I'm somewhat relieved I won't be here to experience it!
davebro, me neither mate, sad for the next genertion and the one after that etc etc, maybe soylent green film was an omen warning.
How about an internment camp on one of the uninhabited Scottish islands?
We have to make it unwelcoming or they will just keep coming. I always understood that asylum seekers were to ask for asylum in the first friendly country they arrive at........not the most gullible.
Greece have already set up camps on one of their islands which will take up to 3000 and where the migrants can be housed, fed and looked after while waiting for their paperwork to be processed. It sounds like an humanitarian answer to me - as well as being off-putting to others willing to risk their lives at sea
and all from mostly muslim countries, iran iraq syria are not at war as far as i know, and then the africans...oh dear, we have seen the rapes and murders in germany by said migrants, the ones that get reported.
The UK government has now deployed troops to defend the border and keep the illegal immigrants at bay. Not our border ... Poland's border. It is like some sort of grim parody. There is a deliberate policy of allowing our borders to be routinely breached, but we can send troops thousands of miles to protect someone elses.
don't try to stop them, let them go !!
Togo. but many of those crossoing the Polish border will not remain in Poland and will probably make their way to the UK.
