Tony Blair would have done a far better job of handling the Covid Pandemic than Boris has done . Says Dominic Cummings. I totally agree with him.

What was the question again?

Boris lies so blatantly, so naturally, so regulary that there is no real distinction possible with him, as there is with normal people between truth and lies, says Mr Cummings . .....Once again I agree with him.
In this government or within its opposition party, I don't think Boris has the monopoly when it comes to lies; his lies are 'generous', most others are self-serving, including those of Cummings (who isn't btw even a politician).

Boris will sacrifice anybody for his own career, and is totally untrusted by anyone at No 10. another quote from Cummings. I believe this one also.
Blair and Boris both belong in the same category - totally unsuitable leaders who conned the electorate with superficial charm and outright lies.
//and is totally untrusted by anyone at No 10. //

There may be precendents for this :

Looks like Gulliver has been radicalised by Cummings.
So would Adolf Hitler, Joe Stalin and Rasputin, not to forget my great great uncle. We could choose any names, they'll never be tested.
He probably would but it’s all pointless speculation.
The war criminal nonsense is still … nonsense ;-)
Blair didn't have any charm, superficial or otherwise. Boris doesn't either.

Sqad 09.26 ,"I thought this thread was about Covid Pandemic". Not exactly, it was all about Cummings opinion of Boris , Comparing him to Blair
blair was a champagne socialist who ruined the uk with awful laws
that generated cash for his wife and his property portfolio, ah remember two jags as well working class puppet for blair, mention migrants your a racist xenphobe... and the wars mmmm marvelous.
sqad - you thought this was a covid thread

Nope - it is a typical labour party fest where the idea is to stab any competitor in the back - just like an NHS hospital of yore

i am ashamed to say I voted for Bliar once

where da babies come from den?

virgin birth - what ALL of them ?
I don't think Blair should be given that comparison, gulliver. The person who would have handled it better than anyone was Thatcher. She wouldn't have been led by the nose and closed the country down. She would have demanded (and probably got) another way of handling it, which would have been much less harmful to the country, and given the proper protection to the people who needed it most. Unlike Bojo the Clown who told everyone to head for the hills, keep away from each other, get a wash and wear a mask.

Except Tony Blair wasn't in the running to be PM. Would Jeremy Corbyn have made better decisions, been more honest with the public and plotted an effective course out of the pandemic?
