Well from what I have read and heard, he does come across as a bit 'off the chart' so I'm not surprised - I'm also a little surprised that there haven't been more runctions over Leo Varadkar's comments - though I don't think that they are wide of the mark if unification was handled sensitively with a new constitution and the rest. Not easy though.

Not unhinged just incompetent.
Now Sir Jeffrey will come in, as he should have 21 days ago, only this time without the more apparent stigma of having been instrumental in Arlene Foster’s demise: he’ll be seen as the one who rescued the party from the Poots interregnum.
It should be borne in mind though that the immediate reason Poots had to go was because of the culture deal he agreed with Sinn Fein: so we’re for now back to square one on that one
