Tyrannical regime , they know the world can only stand by and watch, I have a friend who was subject to Iran’s tyranny, she was a primary school teacher in Tehran , she was uncovered one day because it was so hot, someone rang the secret police and they beat her mercilessly, she had an arranged marriage here to a Iranian dentist , a baby boy then a divorce but he keeps their son, she now speaks perfect English , drives and is studying herself to be a dentist,the stories she’s told me are horrific

Sqad, my friend goes each Summer with their boy to visit her parents , they have a mountain retreat and she goes skiing there

I used to visit my mother when I could, Sqad. It never resulted in a treason charge, but I didn't expect it to, and perhaps she didn't either. Then again, Windrush people didn't expect to be denied their legal rights in Britain either.
