Off to the shops sun is shinning, first call Dunelm for some new bedding for my holiday. Much better to be able to see it and feel it, than buying on line. Have a good day all.
and said before that he had emptied the bank account, just in case the government got there first, don't ask what that means, just quoting his post from a week or so ago.
Yes, emmie, the one I nearly bought was the sort you drive around. You can get them with garages big enough for a small car. It is very inconvenient securing everything so you can drive to the nearest shop 20 miles away because you have dropped the last loo roll in the loo.
What a very nice afternoon out, the sun was glorious, everyone smiling and happy to be out in the town, happy faces on the kids too. Shops very busy taking lots of money, the restaurants outside had got lots eating and drinking, all happy to be free. Only queue I had to stand in was Dunelm, for about 5 mins no more than I've had to do at the supermarket for the last twelve months.
I too enjoyed my brief trip to town today, bought what I wanted and sat in the sunshine for a bit drinking a coffee. Lovely normal feeling for a change !
Can't understand the rush to get out to the shops. Got everything I need anyway and certainly don't want to waste all the social distancing for the past year for the sake of standing in a queue outside a shop.
>>> no more than I've had to do at the supermarket for the last twelve months
Apart from the first week or so of shopping restrictions, when stores were still finding their way through the new rules, I've NEVER had to queue at any supermarket over the past year.
