Do you move aside to give people space?
Stop?
Walk hurriedly past?
Carry on as normal?

I tend to hold my breath as I go past people :)
move aside to give people space
Carry on as normal, but then again I have never been one for invading other peoples space so I dont walk on top of them.
I do whatever is necessary to keep a distance, usually politely but sometimes a bit bad-temperedly.
move aside if possible.
I think it’s now been instilled in us to do a bit of a swerve to oncoming people, I do
I give people at least 6 feet
Step aside
here thats just not possible, or won't be when things start to return to normality, whenever that is, its just too packed

Me too! I've found most people respectful of space except in shops. A couple of times I've had to ask people behind me in queues to step back, and to be fair they seemed surprised but they readily obliged and apologised. I've taken to standing with my trolley behind me in the queue to fend them off. :D
I don't suppose it is emmie, at least I can walk in the road if need be.
Walking in the street - either move aside or into the road - easy when you live in a village where everyone is respectful and there's very little traffic.
Walk right in front of them and give them a big hug.

Only the ladies of course, if a man a firm handshake.
Sparkly thank you, I need cheering up and you’ve made me smile
Hi Bobbs, lovely sunny day here. Might get my shorts out and give my legs an airing.

It isn’t that simple really.

In our village as in many places the streets are narrow and the road is busy.
Therefore often there is no option but to just carry on. I’ll step off the pavement if safe to do so, but otherwise I just hurry past.

What intrigues me is when people just stop
and wait for you to pass. I can’t really see the point of that, especially when you’re still in the street. You’re only slightly increasing the fleeting time you are in contact with the other person. I sometimes wonder if the other person is trying to make some sort of “point”. One lady gave me a very loud and sarcastic “thank you” as I went past her. At least I assume it was sarcastic :-)
Lovely here too, I’m out having coffee on the decking
Try and keep a reasonable distance, but don't get upset if someone gets too near.
Ich it’s the ones that just about fall in privets when they see you walking towards them that make me stifle a giggle
giving total strangers a spontaneous hug is not to be advised
