Anyone know what time boris is due to address the nation today?

So darn tired of covid and although I was very worried back in March I now wonder if we shouldn’t all try get back to normal and if the 3 tier restrictions are necessary. (Ps my husb is classed as vulnerable but we are just being sensible with risk not overly paranoid.... his life is carrying on fairly normally even working throughout)

would think it's this morning, but can;t find any further info on it,
i confess whatever time it's on i will switch off.
BBC website says "this evening" - does that mean 5 p.m or 8 p.m.?
They said around six on the radio this morning
Cummings, Hasn't finished writing it yet.
He is telling MPs first then doing a Downing Street press conference at 6pm so will probably be on the 6 oclock news
I think the new system is aimed at making the rooolz easier to understand so that when a place gets a spike in infection, the reaction will always be the same...so not overlayed on the control actions we have now but instead of them...bundling them up to make it easier to communicate and understand.
I shan't be bothering to listen to him whenever it is.
I'll read about it afterwards
15:30
BBC news has just said there is due to be a briefing at six o'clock.
are you a born contrarian TCL? It just said on NEWS 24 that the PM is speaking at 3:30pm. Let's see shall we.
Maybe you're both right.

Or wrong.
They are.
It’s 3.30 in the Commons and 6pm news conference
Maybe we’ll be spared a “broadcast to the nation”
And for the real masochists a briefing by van-Tam and his doom merchants round about now
TTT, I said there was due to be a BRIEFING at six.
15 30 statement to commons#
the MPs were whining about not being consulted
I am not sure if he takes questions

then broadcast to the Nation - Briefing as someone said - oop t norf we expect quasi shut down -

Also d****** tired of the whole thing and the hysteria and the economic damage it is doing. I am 71 plus weak chest of long diagnosis and also asthma, OH is 87 with serious heart conditions.

Can everyone get this, please, neither of us wants to be protected beyond being given a bit of space away from others and we dearly want the rest of the country to get back to normal because we are suffering from lack of NHS services. How loudly do we need to yell?
