Hitting back at critics who say he has both lost control of the coronavirus pandemic in Britain and struggled since suffering from COVID-19, Johnson said suggestions he had lost his “mojo” was “self-evident drivel”.

“The kind of seditious propaganda that you’d expect from people who don’t want this government to succeed, who wanted to stop us delivering Brexit and all our other manifesto pledges,” he said

No Johnson, it is not propaganda, you have led the country to disaster and keep disappearing when the chips are down. The comments are not just from people who dont want the Government to succeed, indeed for many like me it is the opposite. We see you failing and want someone who will deliver like a Tory in the PM seat.

YMB//No Johnson, it is not propaganda, you have led the country to disaster//
Rather it is the Coronavirus that is to blame.
As I understand it, the people saying Johnson has lost his Mojo, are his own party.

The Opposition are bound to suggest that, and everyone will ignore them.

When the dissent is from within his own ranks, it’s a bit more serious
I doubt he could control a kids play ground,. when you have a government with blinkers on and just blanks everyone out ( very much like Trump, it becomes more dangerous. I said from the beginning that this virus would win, due to stupidity, and it is.

No, Covid-19 was the catalyst. Johnson's actions, including only listening to scientists with one view, have bought the country close to its knees. And he and Hancock are still doing it.

If he doenst want to appear a dictator and tyrant let Parliament have a say.
//We see you failing ..//

Who's 'we'? Not me that's for sure. With the unprecedented burdens he has on his plate, I think he's doing ok. I don't believe any government could have, or would have done more - and frankly I'm sick of people criticising. They wouldn't want his job - and more to the point they couldn't do it if they had it!

Why bring Trump into this, please do not derail the thread I want to discuss Johnson and only Johnson. Please raise a separate thread for DJT.
Question Author
Naomi, so you are sick of people criticising? Do you think people shouldn't say something if you see it is wrong?

And I disagree, he has not, and is not, doing the best for the country long term. He has only just started with the mealy words and promises again because people like me will stand up for our Party and say enough is enough.

"They wouldn't want his job - and more to the point they couldn't do it if they had it!"

Supposition at its best.
// Do you think people shouldn't say something if you see it is wrong? //

Not at all - which is why I'm saying I'm sick of people criticising.
13.17 If I want to give a comparison of what I believe two people have in common I will. So don't instruct me otherwise. Thank you.
It beggars belief that anyone thought Boris Johnson would be anything more than the lying bumbling useless clown he has always been, when he became PM.

It doesn’t matter what he touches (Covid, Brexit, EU negotiations and the economy) it will always turn to faeces.

He is not up to the job of PM, it didn’t need a pandemic for that to be evident.
13.35 Its beggars belief that anyone....... sorry I did :0)
Well at least you admit it! Hopefully you are not one of those schnooks who still think he is doing a good job.

The Tory’s will get him to hang his legacy on a crap Brexit deal then shuffle him off to a diplomatic role.
Fair play to you ymb: I know you support the Tories but you don’t let it blind you to the failings of this government.
I’m just amazed that anyone is surprised. As I’ve said before I’d want Johnson campaigning for me all day long, and Dominic Cummings.
But not to do the actual governing.
They've been offered help and support from past PMs and MPs with a dam site more experience, and no strings attached and refused point blank, they think they can do it on their own, even with eight months of failure to get one thing right.
13.24 Teacake, I know what Trump and Johnson have in Common . They are a pair of Liars. Also Trump is away with the fairies and Johnson ain't too far behind him.
bit of a libfac love in going here! Use protection!
I for one am proud to welcome YMB to the LibFacs :P
It’s great to know that we will be the Saudi Arabia of wind”.
World leaders in power from thin air.

If I was a Spitting Image script writer I’d fear being made redundant
// Not at all - which is why I'm saying I'm sick of people criticising.//
but clearly not sick (yet) of calling me a stupid man - or that I am ill educated

anyway when it comes to procks - would you like Tony Blair - ever ready to advise or Dom Cummings

I wd give Dom a further try
