Wednesday. Wall to wall cloud this morning. Yer wee man is saying tomorrow will be sunny. So far this is the summer that never was! Not a lot of running around to do, so it looks like tackling mount ironing, it's about a four pint pile now. Oh well, it won't do itself...sadly!

The eagle I mentioned yesterday didn't seem to want to go, so I phoned the bird sanctuary and they came and collected it. They gave me some free entry tickets.

Geese, you are lucky, Theland - we have a flock here putting up a dawn chorus as I type.....however, the night before, two owls in the run-in to rumpy-pumpy was quite a noise, particularly at 3am......no wonder someone came up with the word 'shoot' by adding an s onto the sound they make.

Morning, minty, a grey start sown here, the signs of a breeze getting up and water on the conservatory/porch roof. I need to direct the wet-stuff into the room itself and feed my tomato plants and herbs. The cherry one is running rampant and there are now 60+ tomatoes emerging. Maybe some reddening of the first ones with the sun/warmth coming in from Friday on. My micro-basil has also thrived out there.

not bad Boaty xx yesterday had a bit of a low energy day..breathing worsened and extreme fatigue...was warned there may be days like that... if it stays dry will aim for an easy walk with friend and dogs...perhaps fresh air will help
