Saturday. From wall to wall sunshine yesterday to wall to wall cloud this morning. No rain though, according to my wee Kindle weather app, so I'll risk washing on the line. If it rains it'll get an extra rinse.
Not much to do today, so might have lunch out. Then again I might not. We'll see.
Have a happy day everyone.
Morning all - just up and its an uggh morning, not helped by being awake at 4 for 30 plus minutes - a weird dream of being in a left-hand drive car and ending up on the wrong side of the road....
Morning folks. Same weather here; no sun, lots of cloud, no rain - yet, in the Manchester Metropolis. But there's time folks, there's time! It's a golf day today, another chance to lose several golf balls which I've no doubt will be taken.
Morning Clarion, so what handicap are you playing off?.... was down to 5 here but now a 12, a lack of practice and it's the short game that needs working on...the putting is fine as that goes with my eye to hand coordination - I used to play snooker to a pretty high level....
DTC, I used to play off 6. That was 10 years ago. Then life threw lots of gubbins at me, I lost interest, but now I'm playing more, worse than ever off 17 and rising. The new WHS that starts in November should be interesting. No more CONGU, pick your own tees for the competition. Sorry folks. I'm babbling on. Like Alan Partridge. Anyway, you know the old saying? The older I get, the better I used to be.
well as long as you keep enjoying it.....biggest fault that we get at age is as our swings get shorter, we try and compensate with too much power, hence we are too 'quick'. I always say that when I swing a club well and at a good tempo, I can feel the club head at the top of the swing.
