When you justify it by claiming the police knew him, and they knew his violent criminal past, then you are invalidating the defence that the death was accidental.
You are saying he was targeted, the force used was right, and that the death was inevitable sooner or later.

I don't think anyone is defending murder but that is still for a jury to decide. I believe Mr Floyd was found to have various narcotics in his blood at the autopsy . They were not those that are medically prescribed either. They are the sort he has previous form for dealing illegally. They are the evidence that gets swallowed quickly to avoid police discovering them . There could be a few other health reasons that precipitated his demise and we know only what we read.Let the ME and judge decide.

Floyd was known to the officer. That is common knowledge if you care to look. Floyd worked in 'private security'. God knows how he was allowed or licenced to do that after a conviction for armed robbery. Police Officers in the states are allowed to moonlight. I understood they worked together at one time,probably as door managers or 'bouncers'

Why bother with the courts? It seems you have decided that Floyd wasn't murdered.
Second thing, if it does go to trial, and a guilty verdict is reached, I wonder how many folk here will be decrying it as a kangeroo court, pandering to leftist media, scapegoatism, or some other such BS?
