These subhuman scum have targeted a maternity ward killing babies, mothers and nurses.

I know these attacks go on nearly every day around the world but many of them go unreported.

I think the point you're making is that the IRA would be prepared to stop killing people if they achieved their political aims, whereas militant Islam never would because their aim is to kill all infidels whatever. That's fair enough. Either way, it amounts to being prepared to kill as many people as it takes until they get their way.
