I found the interview with the Care Minister yesterday very uncomfortable to watch. Piers didn't let her speak and his figures were from the media. She was right to say that the numbers on deaths must be verified before publishing.

As for today's I/V, the pay issue has nothing to do with what the public think. No other country has opted for MPs pay cut.

they were always going to be "sitting" from April 21, in whatever format, ZM (even if only dressed from the waist up). But at the height of a national emergency, they've had four weeks off, and I think that was a mistake.

I was asking the question not giving my opinion, plus at the beginning of the post I just, and only just wanted to know what the general opinion was. Along with who would turn it into an argument for their own satisfaction, you got top marks for that!

JNo, these things take time to set up properly and securely. Surely you appreciate that? It’s the same argument as wanting to have PPE sat on shelves for an unspecified worldwide event. Nobody had, just as there was no video conferencing facility to accommodate 635 people. Why not say, ‘wow they’ve got that up and running quickly’ instead of the glass half empty approach?

and no doubt if they did some of them would try and recoup it via expenses and lets not forget the £10k thats available to buy WFH equipment that im willing to bet every one of them already has...i'm looking forwards to seeing figures on who has used these extra finances and to what extent and for what...i wont hold my breath though
