It said on the brief news at 9 on bbc 1 that his condition had worsened this afternoon and he had been moved to ICU incase he needed to go on a Ventilator.
This is exactly what I was on about aunt polly we are being treated like mushrooms,
Kept in the dark and fed a load of ***,
And by the way in regards to blowing your own trumpet I agree with you entirely,
But you realise like me you will be of the birthday book
Come on, Boris ...
Jordy the 'coven' must have been on the sherry tonight they are all up for it lol!

We are certainly being kept in the dark vis a vis Boris. This is probably normal as the soldiers shouldn't be told the generals been fatally shot, flesh wound and all that. GET WELL SOON BORIS!
I hope he makes a good recovery.
I really don't what more anyone expects to be told. He has the virus, he's not improving, and he's been taken into intensive care. What more is there to know?
Of he doesn't need a ventilator (and it seems he doesn't) he shouldn't be in ICU, taking the place of a regular person who actually does need one.

It seems Polly and Jordy are right. We're getting half truths and hearsay. I hope he gets better, but this is starting to sound a little like scaremongering.
Perhaps information release is being handled in a post-Soviet stylee by you know who.
"Of he doesn't need a ventilator (and it seems he doesn't) he shouldn't be in ICU, taking the place of a regular person who actually does need one." The point is he is not a "regular person"; he is the Prime Minister of the nation and should, obviously, get preferential treatment, if that is how YOU would express it. (I'm not shouting; I just can't do italics.)

Dr Simon Clarke, a microbiologist at the University of Reading, told Sky News the prime minister was probably being supported with fluids and is likely to have received oxygen to help his breathing.

"The NHS, particularly at this moment, doesn't give up intensive care beds just for people to be looked over - it doesn't work like that, even for prime ministers," he added.

"He would not be in intensive care unless he needed to be in intensive care, especially not at this time."
That makes more sense RC. Thank you for clarofying.
I'm really struggling with the keyboard on the new tablet, as you can probably tell!
Glad to assist.
I have to add, retro, that the guy you mentioned is probably a university professor of microbiology and not a doctor on the "front line" at an active hospital. Also, there is a deep Petri dish of difference between microbiology and virology. Therefore I wouldn't take his opinion in much esteem

I’m not clear why there’s nit picking about why Boris is in intensive care, given the current situation I hardly think they’ve put him in there for a *** laugh.
Precisely sherrard.
Got my fingers crossed for him.
I wish him well and pray for his swift recovery.
Rather selfishly, I want him back as I can't think of a better leader at this time. We really need him.
Not selfish at all Theland. Given the circumstances, he's doing a sound job. Mr Trump could take a page of two from Boris' book on dealing with this terrible situation.
