Exactly... and regarding people, the quality job a plumber can do isn't compromised, because he deals with pipes, not people. Regarding the PM, his opinions on people matter a whole lot more than a tradesman because what Boris thinks and does has a direct impact because all he does is deal with people.
As long as he don't tire himself out in bed the night before and turns up for work, not a problem.
If he has sex with a variety of women, it won’t impact on my life as long as he’s PM fit !
This may need to be moved to body and soul before we go any further. :0)
thedevil personal opinions don't necessarily affect the quality of the job. I worked in the NHS and often had to treat people who hunted foxes and deer when it was legal. My opinion of them and their behaviour didn't affect the job that I did for them. Where his opinions about what is best for the country are concerned, I don't think he has ever tried to hide them.
Devil; For a newcomer, you have an awful lot to say & I wonder if I'm alone in finding it rather tiresome. It matters not one jot if the plumber you quote (if you can find one) beats his wife as long as he is a good plumber, beyond that his private life is none of your concern.

If you wish to go through life making character assessments of everyone based on their private lives before dealing with them, you may be in for a few shocks & might also find yourself rather lonesome.
If you would be happy to have a PM who "beats his wife" then that's on you Khandro. I'd rather not.
People don't have private then public lives. They just have lives.

If you find what I say tiresome, then don't read it.

It's literally that simple.
Couldn't give a stuff if he is a 'bit of a lad'. I've said it before and I'll say it again, he got Brexit done and he got a stonking majority in the election and that's all I care about. Like another poster said though, I do wonder what all those women saw in him, but then again, whatever floats your boat (lol) …
I think it’s his hair HereIam ( snigger)
But I’m a BoJo fan

Please can you direct me to the link or your evidence that the current Prime Minister,Boris Johnson, is a wife beater as I can't find it here or may have missed that allegation?
What I see in him is a very intelligent and interesting man with a wicked sense of humour and a lovely speaking voice. Rather unkempt, but doesn't care, and not afraid to make a fool of himself. ;o). I'm not surprised women are attracted to him
17.55 He is not a wife Beater , he is a Beat officer. Lol Retro.
I just Googled "Boris Johnson domestic violence" and only found the details of the argument he and his partner had last year, which was well reported.

There doesn't seem to be any further reports, so that leaves me to the conclusion that people are making things up, unless they can provide links.

I don't find it tiresome (well not very) I find it incorrect. Of course people have private and public lives. The "me" that my patients met at work is not the "me" that I was at home. There was another "me" who went with my late husband to all manner of posh business functions and made polite chit chat. I am sure that I am not the only one who has public and private personae...probabaly all of us who are on AB do to a greater or lesser extent.
