Epitomy of the quisings.
about time Tarzan retired from the fray
I don't see that should be a surprise. He knew what we wanted, so there was no justification for fighting against it.
//"We are not there to defy the will of the people."//
Hypocrite. Who is he kidding? He made a damned good attempt to do just that.Never liked the person since he stabbed another P.M. in her back.
always thought there was something wrong with him, can't put my finger on it..
Oh his message got through loud and clear. That he had lost it, and should be ignored.
"They didn't listen because they wanted to get out of the austerity and they saw Brexit as a route to do that."

Errrr.... No ! Austerity was likely not to last forever anyway and both major parties said it was over. Brexit will has short term disruption, no one voted because it looked easy but because it returned our sovereignty, control of our own destiny.
Exactly! Leavers voted to regain control of their own country and to stop unregulated immigration. It's not rocket science!!
Dreadful man. Always has been.
AH, could you tell me (us) what the situation will be re immigration post Brexit?
points system apparently - like Oz or Canady
blaaarting about this on the Beeb channel 231 as we speak

apparently ZM they are talking about an Austruckingfalian style points system!

Perhaps I can help. It will mean that the 500m citizens of the EU Rump (together with those from any new members) will no longer have an unqualified right to settle in the UK. Whether any of them are allowed to settle here will be a matter for the UK to decide. Among other things it will end the current policy which discriminates against potential migrants from outside the EU which we are forced to adopt courtesy of our membership.
He was just looking at the best way to increase his £300,000,000 fortune and saw the EU as the best way of doing that.
Thanks to NJ and Tora. I find it really odd that someone can make the statement ‘Leavers voted to regain control of their own country and to stop unregulated immigration’ then, when asked to qualify this they claim they don’t really know what the situation will be, post Brexit.
Oh you're playing with fire there, ZM. Be careful what you wish for. :-)
There’s nothing incorrect in what I’ve said. That’s not my idea of playing with fire.
He fought for what he believed in, like a lot of Remainders. How that is unachievable, he's stood aside to let things happen as they will. Nothing wrong in fighting for a cause you believe is right, even in spite of public opinion.
