This quote from the BBC article:
Speaking on a three-day visit to the UK, Mr Trump said he would "stay out of the election", that he was a "fan of Brexit" and he thought PM Boris Johnson was "very capable".
If that's not endorsing the Tories in a run-up to an election I don't know what is.
What influence do you expect Trump's endorsement to have, diddly?
diddly //If that's not endorsing the Tories in a run-up to an election I don't know what is//
And your problem with that is?
That's not the point - it just shows that Trump is a liar, just like Boris.
diddly, it's not news so he's hardly electioneering. His opinions on Brexit and Boris have been in the public domain for a very long time. Still, why take a moment to think rationally when there's a wonky-wheeled bandwagon to hop on?
Naomi - you're clutching at straws with your soi-disant arguments. One can only hope that votes by the people who hate Trump (every UK citizen of sound mind)will have a detrimental effect on votes for Boris.
What influence do you expect Trump's endorsement to have, diddly?
I hope it has the effect that neither Trump nor Boris want i.e. that it puts people off from voting Tory.
No, diddly, I'm not clutching at straws - I'm stating a fact. We know what Mr Trump thinks of Brexit and Boris. This is not news.
Diddly //. that it puts people off from voting Tory.//
Why should it, not everyone is as easily swayed as you appear to be.
Danny - on what do you base your assertion that I am "easily swayed"?
By your acceptance of everything that the leftie Guardian spews out.
I'm not swayed by the Guardian. It just happens to be the thinking person's newspaper of choice because of its first-rate journalism and honesty.
Diddly, thank you for proving my point.
Yikes! Another one who will argue that black is white and vice versa.
Diddly, pot and kettle.
//It just happens to be the thinking person's newspaper of choice //

See danny, you're just incapable of thinking! Must try harder. ;o)
So, diddly, you're opinion is that Trump will put people off voting Tory. I thought, as a labour supporter, you'd be happy with that?
Naomi, if I said what I am thinking at the moment I would be banned.
Yes, if it means that fewer people vote Tory - great! But I despise Trump even more by lying about "not getting involved" in the forthcoming election when he clearly is getting involved.
