ABed can you move this to jokes, please?
To think that many people on this site claim that the BBC is, at best impartial and, if not, left-wing is quite incredible. The BBC claims it was a "mistake" - talk about economical with the truth. Here's a link before anyone moans at Gulliver for not providing one.

So the claim that BBC NEWS edited out the audience laughing at Boris Johnson on Question Time Special is not true. It was actually in a subsequent programme.
Question Time is not live and is edited before broadcast.
Lots of stuff will be edited out for brevity sake. The audience laughing at a legitimate question is not what the show is about, and I see nothing wrong in not broadcasting it.

Jo Swinson will be on soon saying the audience wasn't even given the chance to laugh at her.

BBC said it was a mistake , not sure who is the biggest Liar BBC or Boris.

Are you seriously suggesting that one short, poorly edited news item on the BBC will have any bearing on the election?
I don't think that was the point of Gulli's question. The fact remains that the BBC is far from impartial and actively favours the Tories, a fact which many on this site seem blind to.
It was a news bulletin.
Removing context spins the image given.
Apology was in order.

17.16" It was a news bulletin " It was a lie " BBC said it was a mistake " it was NOT a mistake.
I have now watched 2 clips, one of the question as asked on the Show, and one of the News bulletin.

The amused laughing by the audience was less than half a second so wasn’t worth editing out for time reasons. The edit does give an inaccurate report of the audience’s true response, so I have changed my mind, it was naughty of the BBC cut it out.
Gulliver it’ll come that people just won’t bother to answer these posts of yours,Why? Because both Pixie and myself asked you to answer our questions put to, in another rant of yours ,but you either can’t or just totally believe in the stuff you put up without seeing another side?
Bobbisox you are wasting your time this pair. They only ever see one side of things. The audience giggled at all of them on that program with the things they came out with. As for answering a question they will be gone from this thread soon if you ask them one as you, myself and others have found. There was another thread on earlier about Corbyn's son but they just tried turning it into something about the tory party. A complete waste of time answering them really.
Yeah shedman, soon they’ll be ranting to themselves
I find it hard to believe an audience can laugh for less than half a second.

Never been to a Jimmy Carr gig then?
Vulcan42,
Not sure if this twitter link will work, but it compares the before and after edit clips.

maybe the ed can give itchy and scratchy their own section then they can rant away in private.
Love the Itchy and Scratchy handle :0)))
