I suppose it's traditional, the first thing Brown did was start taxing pension dividends. They just don't see that if you wreck private pension growth you increase the state burden.

ZM, you get out of the bed the wrong side this morning ?
Is that your best comeback, danny boy?
No ZM, my best comeback to you would get me banned.
Oh dear, we wouldn’t want that now, would we.
Labour's Nationalisation plans will affect more than pensions. They will affect investment into this country ... and hence prosperity.
Wouldn’t it be ironic if the leave vote which (supposedly) took us away from the evil Lord Junkers and his crew straight into the arms of a Marxist government.

Cue the Sun newspapers famous headline......
The Sun's famous headline can't be that famous. What is it?
I think he may be referring to !Up yours! Delors"
Close, but no cigar, Jack
//Cue the Sun newspapers famous headline...... //

"Super Caley Go Ballistic Celtic Are Atrocious" - but I can't see how this might be relevant to this thread?
I think Zacs has lost the plot.
Zacs could start an argument in an empty room.
And lose it.
Actually I hoped to find meaningful debate here not propaganda. It is striking that the conservatives have little to offer other than criticism of the other parties. I am just sick of hearing it. So clever boy tell me what have the conservatives done to increase national debt by £1.3T ???? go on clever clogs, tell us.
//It is striking that the conservatives have little to offer other than criticism of the other parties. //

all the parties are doing that this season. apart from the escalating round of "my dad's bigger than your dad" increasingly ludicrous and probably undeliverable promises from both sides, the campaigning I've seen so far from both sides is either how "the other lot" are telling blatant lies, or embarking on their version of "project fear" highlighting how bad this or that party will be for you if you vote for them

danny, valiant effort but you forgot to bring jelly and nails me old china!
I’ve told you before, you supply all the jelly I need me old china.

I’m sorry you couldn’t follow my post, Naomi. It was fairly simple. A direct comparison of the Sun’s headline when Kinnochio looked like he might gain power.

Maybe you should take up writing Sun headlines, Tora. At least that way the Labour Party might actually take some notice of you.

Then again......

ah yes, kinnochio, 1992, happy days ZM, he was a shoe in and decided to hold the "victory" party the day before the election! The man of grey got a 20 seat majority. The public hate being taken for granted.
They do, Tora. I’m at least grateful that you know what I was talking about. It seems some others found it a little difficult. One of them, I was surprised by but for Spicey it wasn’t unexpected. Bless him.
