"A PM who thinks that "cooking" is steak and oven chips "

It wouldn't qualify him for Masterchef but it certainly IS cooking. How else could you describe it?
Okay, spath You can't think of anything to support your claim that he's pretentious. Thought not.
hahahahahhhhahahahahahahhaha

Boris... Unpretentious... HAHA! That is absolutely jokes Naomi.

:o)
To be fair though.. a pretentious attitude is good for a PM. It shows confidence and makes others question themselves. It may show 'us' as a bit brute but in the eyes of others this may be good especially as we can back it up with factual waffle, and a character of certainty.

I thought it a pleasant change from the usual endless talking heads. No mention on here of anything he said - & he mentioned several policies - all we get are the highlighting of his walking the dog and cooking a meal.

As Peter Pedant would say, " another day on AB". ;0)
Khandro that's because out of everything he said, the things we almost know we can trust is the fact he walks his dog and that he had steak and oven chips for tea last night.

Regarding his policies, we all know we can't trust politicians as far as we can throw them.

I'd rather my PM eat steak and chips rather than a ready meal prick n ping.
Totally agree, Emmie. These party political broadcasts that attempt to make a politician appear 'normal' are rather toe-curling. Interspersing inane questions like "What's your fav band?" with "Who should the country vote for?" (that one could also be considered inane because he isn't going to say anything other than "Conservatives", is he?). And, from almost every camera angle, the poster proclaiming "20,000 more police on the streets".
Not seen Labour's yet but it will most likely be just as toe-curling. As a 'floating voter' i often wonder just who these PPBs are aimed at. I'm not going to vote for someone just because they begin their day much as i do.
AND he didn't let the tea brew before he put the milk in - would have been very weak! What an idiot.
He's obviously not used to making a proper cup of tea. Hot water out of a tap and he left the teabag in the cup .It looked like dishwater or gnats piddle as my Mum used to say.
^
Yeah, but to be fair, as soon as the cameras stopped rolling, he probably threw it down the sink and got one of his minions to make him a proper brew.
I thought he was extremely dexterous. Just marvel at the way he held a full cup of liquid and whilst explaining his ambitions for our future he gesticulated with his left arm and not one drop was spilt.
Unlike his oppo's slash and burn policies it would of hit the fan.
Bloody hell some plank on here thinks he is not fit to govern because he cooks steak and chips - heard it all now !!
spath, do you know what pretentious means?
I bet he puts milk in first. He looks the type.
A hard BJ is the only way ;)

//I bet he puts milk in first.//

Bet he doesn't. No self-respecting old-Etonian would do that.
Come on Naomi! Any self-respecting old Etonian would get one of their servants to make the brew:-))
:o)
or if at Eton would get one of the fags to do it.
