In view of the terrorist attacks inflicted upon the British people in the name of Islam, have we every right to show fear, hated and prejudice against the Islamic religion?

Statistics would not change my mind one bit. I am prejudiced against all Muslims and although I would never be openly rude to them will always feel uneasy around them. I am not apologising for how I feel, nor trying to convert anyone to my thought processes and neither am I condemning anyone who does not believe the same as me. I don't know if it has been discussed already, but it seems logical to me that radical Islamists are desperate to promote Islamophobia amongst the general population. The more Muslims have to face abuse and provocation from others, the easier it is to radicalise them.

By showing hatred or distrust to Muslims we are helping the terrorists.

30,000+ are on terrorist watch lists, so about 1% of their population, pixie. Don't see what difference it makes to be honest.

Reading some of the posts on here from Islamophiles, reminds me of Neville Chamberlain stepping off the plane in 1938, waving his bit of paper and announcing, "Peace for our time."

Ummmm - Tommy Robinson himself praises the many fine Muslims he knew in Luton, along with his friends and acquaintances from many diverse nationalities.
The issue is for sure a minority of Islamists, but that minority is a huge number, and enjoy the quiescent approval of many more.

I think it is abuse, and i take it as such. Don't try and be rude, and then pretend you are not being rude - enough people have told you on your mealy-mouthed "What me? Rude???" thread, that are you rude, regularly, but as usual, you avoid proper debate there as you do here.

I doubt anyone is shocked by that - but I equally doubt that anyone other than Naomi and yourself actually believe in the 'serious threat' that you bang on about.
