That's part of the issue, no one ever gets to give it to politicians so they can take it for once. They are so protected and come out with all this controversial stuff. Given the opportunity people have their shot, with what they have available.

No, they aren't. You can't force another adult to be violent (as I said, self-defence excepted). Or even encourage it. People have minds of their own. I genuinely don't see how you can suggest it is not their fault that they are forced to throw milkshakes...

No but you can antagonise them. I didn't say these throwers were forced to do anything. No one is forced to protest.

Yes, people get annoyed or angry with each other, but we communicate with words, because we are human.
You seem to be suggesting that because politicians are mouthy and controversial (which is their job, tbf) that being assaulted is just par for the course? Do you honestly think throwing things is an acceptable way for any adult to behave?

Pixie i'm not looking for an excuse. I don't care if people see me as a hypocrite, but i'm glad they got milk shaked. It was humerus. They were not in danger, it could have been worse.
They are extremely controversial public figures in politics, they reap what they sow. They maybe should not be so controversial regarding touchy topics.
This kind of thing should not happen to associates of these people such as people of the same party.
