here is a question I posted on the night of the referendum when I thought we would lose:

Little did I know our gutless treacherous politicians would simply ignore the result. treason May prefers to deal with the terrorists friend agent COB to thwart democracy than her own cabinet. remoaners, enjoy your vassalage, you've earn't it.

wonder how many of labour's 6 tests will be reappearing today -

"exact same benefits", maybe?
Nobody has committed treason!
"wonder how many of labour's 6 tests will be reappearing today - "
Depends if Abacus is doing the counting.

Treason May appears to have really commited the final nail in the Tories coffin. It looks like she has condemned them into obscurity like the lib dems (or worse)

Prepare for at least 20 years of Marxism. Mind you it wont be so bad because the eU will have to bail us out !
Wait and see if Macron allows the fat lady to sing.
"The principle reason she is meeting with Corbyn is to try and shift some of the blame for whatever's about to happen onto him"

Now that is an interesting point Krom. The woman is devious enough to do that and at this point who knows what is running through her noggin?
I rather hope their talks carry on for the next fortnight. Gives the EU the chance to do something decent for a change.
treason noun [ U ] uk /ˈtriː.zən/ us /ˈtriː.zən/
(the crime of) showing no loyalty to your country

That's debatable Rockrose.

About what?
Looking back at that thread it looks like I was right and you were wrong.
I thought treason was more about deliberately seeking to harm your country? I mean if it's just an 'absence of loyalty'...
Maybe a better epithet for her would be treacherous.
Genuine question here - in a no deal scenario, what happens about the Irish border?
Calicogirl, //I'm quite happy to debate, but if the best people can come up with are juvenile cartoons and Naomi's unpleasant offerings then there is no serious debate to be had and I'll simply troll the bejaysus out of you//

You have spent the past two years telling anyone who disagrees with you on the subject of the EU referendum and Brexit, and in no uncertain terms’, that they don’t know what they’re talking about – and that’s putting it mildly. When your deliberations are met with legitimate challenges, you deem those challenges ‘nasty’. Furthermore, you criticise others for ‘juvenile’ behaviour and follow that with a promise – or is it a threat? – that you will “simply troll the bejaysus’ out of them. Hmmm….
If no deal happens then (regardless of what politicians say) there will need, eventually, to be some form of customs checks on the Irish border as there were in the past.

hoppy, that would be still as it is now, up to the EU to sort out, neither UK/ROI/NI want a hard border. If the EU want to try and impose one on their vassal then it's be up to them and ROI to sort out. It's basically been weaponised by the VB to thwart brexit. In reality no one wants a hard border and the EU have no real way of forcing one to be built. So we do nothing.

There will probably be a some kind of tech employed to track crossing etc in the end.
What kind of tech?
Question Author
something like what Norway does, auto plate recognition, pre registry of vehicles etc The details need to be resolved of course.
Even with the plate recognition technology used between Norway and Sweden, lorries transporting goods still need to stop at manned customs posts.
If we choose to leave with no deal, it's a bit much to just say it is their problem.
