Mrs May has been the political topic of the day so far, but what do we think of Jeremy Corbyn’s performance? Petulant? Irresponsible? Refusing to attend meetings appears to be becoming a bit of a habit with him. A poor recommendation for someone who aspires to loftier heights.

So called Conservatives must be finished. I doubt vote for us or you'll get Corbyn will work again. Labour are definitely finished.
The next GE will be very interesting. (if you like that kind of thing)
jno, you sound a bit upset.
Corbyn is so childish, it's a disgrace and utter disbelief as to how he became leader of the Labour Party!!
//it's a disgrace and utter disbelief as to how he became leader of the Labour Party!! //

He was nominated as a joke that backfired horribly.

Ludwig’s right, jno. You do sound upset. Who said it’s all the opposition’s fault? Let me know and I’ll tell them it isn’t.
Jeremy Corbyn is showing all the hallmarks of someone who is determined to halt any sort of dialogue or constructive approach to resolving this crisis? Why? Because there is an extreme element in the party who is hell bent on chaos so that they can, as they see it, reap the rewards later. Flouncing from a meeting just because Mr Umunna is not a party leader looks like an excuse.
Anyone who's a closet red under the bed is going to stick up for Corbyn, whatever he's done or not done. It's almost admirable.
Not at all - I’m absolutely loving it. Every day brings wonderful new evidence of national incompetence, though it must chill the hearts of any whelk stalls seeking an owner.

Plenty of upset people on this thread, all those wondering what happened to the golden unicorns they voted themselves - but I’m not among them.
"Labour had nothing to do with the referendum."

Labour voted en masse for the 2016 referendum.

It's amazing, isn't it, Jno? Mr Corbyn decides not to attend a meeting and is roundly condemned, while Mrs May, single-handedly in effect, gets Britain into three unholy Brexit, parliamentary and constitutional shambles but escapes virtually unscathed.
Given the last two Prime Ministers we've had, how AB's right-wingers imagine that Mr Corbyn might conceivably be worse than her, her predecessor or any other current Tory MP as a likely candidate for PM - is an abiding mystery.
Why do you think May has “emerged unscathed”?
Hardly!
One leader says the same thing repeatedly while the other says one thing and does the other. There are good people in the Labour Party: the leader is not one of them. He became leader more or less by accident. The most disgraceful thing is not the antisemitism, it’s the fact that he is advised by people like Murray and Milne. They probably are quite happy to keep a low profile while the debate rages about the other.
I believe the original Brexit secretary went to two whole meetings with his opposite numbers in Europe last year, Quizmonster. I think a non-minister attending two meetings fewer is scarcely worth remarking on, the more so since, unlike the case of Mr Davis, it isn’t even his job.
jno - // Meanwhile, you’ve elected the government you’ve got, so deal with it, don’t go whining that it’s all the opposition’s fault. Labour had nothing to do with the referendum. //

That is a truism, rather like car stickers you used to see saying 'Don't blame me, I voted Labour'.

I used to think - what makes you think anyone is blaming you anyway?
Not unscathed? Well, she's still there and even now no one has come forward to challenge her. And I'd say she (quote) "became leader more or less by accident", too!
Had Cameron done what he promised...namely, stayed in post until he reaped what he had sown with his referendum...even the Tories would surely have had the sense not to elect her as leader. Tory promises, eh?
I wouldn't mind knowing who this 'you' is that jno keeps referring to...it could men anything.
Thank God we have a Mature ,Responsible Trustworthy Knowledgeable easy to understand Forward Going Conservative Party in charge of Chaos. God Help Us All. P *** in a Brewery , and Running a Coffee Shop come into mind. Gawd Elp Us All.
Who are you talking about jno ?? I didn't vote tory.
Yes all this Brexit mess is the fault of Jeremy Corbyn. Nothing at all to do with the Conservative Party or Maggie May.

Quizmonster, //Mr Corbyn decides not to attend a meeting //

But this is the second time in a matter of weeks. Even you must admit his petulance seems to be becoming a bit of a habit.
Do we really think that any news about Corbyn at this stage in brexit is in the least bit relevant? Good diversion from the brexiteers though .
