But for this utter savage it should be the rope or if we cannot have that full life, no parole ever.

Even after 27 years he will be able to live a life after raping and murdering this poor six year old, lets just hope the hand wringers have been expunged from any decision making by then.

Don't worry.. I'm sure those he's in there with will show him the ropes.. Give him a good time. if you know what i mean...
The judge said that the sentence was 'without limit of time', and I understand that the 27 years is a determined time, but it is not limited to that time, so in fact, he will probably never be released.

Don't get too carried away with your idea of vigilante retribution, he will probably be segregated.
Couldn't repeat on here some of the other "punishments" suggested on a FB page.
Unfortunate.

Let's hope so AH.

Spath, unfortunately he will be on the NONCE wing. The only good thing is he will spend every waking hour (and hopefully sleeping ones) waiting for an attack.
I hope he enjoys the showers, he's obviously a fan of rape. Twisted, vile pathetic excuse for a human.

The judge according to EC law cant set a time for life sentences because of pre-determination
decision to release is set by the parole board and not him
( and not the Home secretary either ) and at the time of release

what was broadcast was 'remarks on sentencing' which are used as precedents, and quite honestly The Lord Advocate was long on opinion and short on law ....

27 I thought pheeeew !
I mean years ago they were usually out in under 10
Forever is the time he should stay there.
yeah cute cozzy
I cd mince around in a white gown and red crosses

go to a Roman Catholic country and a crowd will gather screaming - incendelo !
( that was meant to be burn him ! burn him! in standard forrin)
When I first heard about this I found it very hard to comprehend, what makes a 16 year old so evil, are they born like it? Is it due to their upbringing? Etc Etc?????????

This is the problem we all encounter when we try to apply our rational minds and thinking to an irrational mind acting on irrational thinking.

I don't imagine we will ever know what motivated this terrible act, we can only feel for those left to live with its devastation.
There is quite a back story we havent heard
His honour said the kid had gone to the house (with a knife) to steal cannabis ...
and found the kid
so went back and forth ....

dobbed in by his mother apparently who saw him on the CCTV
He may find he has to take the easy way out and end it all saving everybody a ton of cash and a load of grief.

Fingers crossed.
Once again the ones in favour of torture are out in force.
'Imprison him for life.' 'let the other prisoners deal with him'etc.
There should be only one way to deal with evil, depraved monsters like this and that should be a lethal injection .A quick, humane end to such a being. He doesn't deserve to live.
You don't consider yourself among the torturers, Andres?

Many reports of lethal injection are less than glowing when it comes to 'slipping away'.
Andres at 13.14
I could not agree more.
Doug
Expensive also. A length of hemp with a correct knot is reuseable and very effective.
No I don't. People that go to Switzerland seem to have peaceful endings. Animals go quite peacefully after being given an injection. Why keep someone locked up for ever in prison. ?
As a punishment!
