The fact he is 97 and recently got into a car crash that could of been a LOT worse than it was.///
If a 27 year old had been involved in the same accident instead of a 97 year old, would you consider his mind to be unstable. Your logic goes thus:
- Some 97 year olds are of unstable mind.
- A 97 year old was involved in a car crash.
- The crash was caused because he had an unstable mind.

FGS Spath. This is a working estate. It is nearing the end of the shooting season. I know it is a very busy time of year for them. Of course their Fleet Managers are going to get in another vehicle asap.
Anyway, if it had been me, I would want another vehicle here immediately. Are you trying to say that if you were involved in a crash you would wait and see what the police were going to do and go and have a mental capacity test BEFORE you sorted out a replacement vehicle?!

Why is there so much coverage of this? The BBC has just spent 10 minutes on the Prince's crash with barely a comment about the people he's injured.
Still, good to see he had a new Land Rover delivered within 24 hours...although I doubt the other people have received such great service.

Don't get me wrong, I like Prince Phillip a lot...and I think the following comments he made are utterly inspired - but surely 98 is too old to still be driving, isn't it?

IF what has been reported is true, there can be no doubt. It is entirely incumbent on a driver pulling out of a side road with Give Way markings to ensure it is safe to pull out. Even if the driver on the main road was speeding (and there is no suggestion they were) it remains the responsibility of the person crossing the Give Way signs to ensure it is safe to do so.
