Dave and I have just had a lovely long vist with Kate, just over 4 hours, it was good.
She is brighter, more mobile today, but I suspect long way to go yet.
I noticed on a previous, now closed thread a couple of people criticised my involvement in her care.
Kate and I had been friends for a good few years before she introduced me to Dave, in fact she helped me out a lot when it was needed, it is payback time now.
I am pleased she is a little more brighter and mobile. I am sure you all wish the medicos get to the bottom of it once and for all. Poor Kate. Like myself I am believing hospitals are my second home. Don’t feel you need to justify yourself to some of the sanctimonious old crones. I am aware of your long standing friendship with Kate on a professional basis before...
I suggest you do have a go Tash. People are incredibly rude and judgemental and want putting in their place about their ignorant and uncalled for opinions imho, just because people don't live in line with their 'moral codes'.
Glad you had a nice visit with Kate and it's nice that you all value one another the way you obviously do. x

I am aware of your long standing friendship with Kate on a professional basis before Balders popped up and I am also aware the care and comfort afforded to you by Kate and Balders when you suffered immense personal tragedy.Well done Tash and Nat. You are doing a great job for a close personal long standing friend as it should be.
A few on here couldn’t follow your footsteps.
Thanks for update. Best wishes to Kate for final, useful diagnosis
Hi Sharon, thanks,
She came home 28/12 had to go back in again early hours 05/01, think they are taking it more seriously this time, I will get as involved as my Job allows me to.
Anything posted on a public forum like this is, by definition, in the public domain and therefore everybody's business!
The OP is entitled to make public as much of her private life as she sees fit, but shouldn't expect other posters who don't agree with how she lives her life not to comment on it. They are just as entitled to do that as she is to react or ignore.
Thanks Retro, not really justifying myself, just felt a couple of the critics were unaware of the situation.
Jimf, please note, I have not criticised anyone.
Patsy, thanks
Best wishes from me as well. And more strength to both Kate and all of those who love her.
Though peoples lives might be "in the public domain", those who choose to comment do not have the right to be rude...and they can be discreet in their comments. Sledgehammerers are not required.
Tash didn't criticise anyone JimF it was me, and yes they can vent their opinions of course they can, just some of us don't vent them back quite as much as we'd probably like because we have better manners. I'll bear your suggestion that it's a God given right to be rude in future and tell them exactly what I think of them then. Thanks for the tip.
Nice reply Retro and heartfelt but please don't make the mistake of thinking others don't do good things day in and out simply because they don't live out their lives on screen.
I also hadn't realised Mrs B was back in hospital. Hopefully there will be some improvement soon and she will be home again.
Thinking of you all, sending good wishes x
Mamyalynne,
(A few on here couldn’t follow your footsteps.)
does not really imply "others do not do good things day in and out"
does it?
Sadieladie, thank you.
