seeing how Brexit seems to complicated i suggest that there are many things he doesn't understand. The many Brits want out, many don;t, to me that is all there is to it.
we voted leave and leave we shall.

I think the importance of a boarder is one of the biggest factors, especially since people have been banging on about it for the entire of the debate
That would be the Democratic way emmie. But it seems democracy is being watered down by the remainextreemist bullies.

They twist words to make it seem like people are changing their mind and want to stay but that I think is not the case.

Yes people are fed up with this debacle but don’t misinterpret that as wanting to remain.
cassa
no indeed.
There is a technological solution that incorperates existing technology and updating some.

But, and this is the kicker, neither TM, the remainers or the EU want to seriously consider it because it doesn’t fit with their view of things.

"They twist words to make it seem like people are changing their mind and want to stay but that I think is not the case. "

I think a lot of people have changed their minds now we know some facts. Some leavers now want to remain, some remainer now want to leave. I'm all for a 2nd vote, but the idea of that really gets people ticked. I don't want a 2nd vote on if to leave or not, i want a vote on the final deal, but there won't be deal, and the gov know that.
if we go with no deal, that won't mean the end of the world as we know it, personally i hope we do, as i feel that some deal will be a fudge on what we expected.
Spath, kindly learn the difference between border and boarder. It makes you look illiterate.
Emmie,09.45. Brexit is in the hands of the Con Men , and Ladies of course, and the Con Party are famous for U Turns. Chickens before they are hatched comes to mind.

The gov want a no deal so EU is forced to deal with the Irish boarder.
Question Author
A hard boarder in Ireland would be dire, the UK gov doesn't want to implement that do they'd rather a no deal so EU has to implement the hard boarder which would be dire for the Irish.

JD i am quite illiterate. That doesn't affect my thoughts and opinions though, just how they come across.
Has May shot herself in the foot by alienating the DUP who she relies upon for support:-

spath, Its BORDER sorry to be so pedantic.
Question Author
Yes.

"But domestic pressure on Mrs May is mounting after the DUP - which is propping Mrs May up in power - claimed she is preparing to break her promise never to sign off a deal which risks splitting Northern Ireland from the rest of the UK."
Sigh.
Border - a boundary
Boarder - someone who lodges overnight or who embarks on a vehicle.

I've struggled with reading and writing all of my life, it's a mild dyslexia but one i've managed to overcome in many ways. However i do stumble. I'm sure, instead of being pedantic and commenting on my spelling or wrongful spelling, a quick email to the editorial team linking them to this page with the request for them to change the word boarder to border would put your at ease. If however, you have something to add to this thread, be my guest.
