Perhaps you should avoid using acronyms and abbreviations which other people don't know.
The whole point of using is to shorten dialogue. LOL, AWOL and NIMBY mean - but when you making acronyms up - it comes across as attention-seeking, like you need people to ask you what they mean, thereby affording you more attention than the subject at hand.
