Spath, I think you may have got a different reaction had they been young socialists or corbinisters
Question Author
"Plymouth University Conservatives were enjoying a night out at local bar Switch to mark the start of the academic year."

AKA freshers. Uni students going on a sober night out? I guess they are tories.

Also, different times Retro. Charlie Chaplin was a comedian, a joker.. These are aspiring politicians. Serious business.
Question Author
ADFA, i think you may be correct. Corbyn has protested against antsematism, but because others lingered with the vibe, he's a culprit.. however these actual young tories are being antisemitic, and it's all just a bit of fun :D

The term i would use for a lot of ABERS is 'double standards'

I try to apply my standards and morals across the board regardless of personal opinion.. as they are standards and morals, however this is not the case for other users.
A couple of ISIS supporters there as well.
spath. //Have you read the article, looked at the photos etc..? //

I've done both. I can't see where it says they intend to make politics their career.
Question Author
Well it's know the conservative party support known terrorist groups, such as saudi arabia supplying our weapons that we gave them to ISIS. So that doesn't surprise me to be fair Tablot.. What does is the open mockery and hatred for the NHS, unless they mean sexual term, and in fact they wish to make love to the NHS.
One had a hitler tach not all of them. What and where is the alleged hand gesture?
Also bit of a mountain out of a mole hill. When I was a student we wrote all sorts on our tshirts.
Question Author
Naomi connect the dots, they're at the Plymouth University Conservative. They're 'young tories' implying one day they will be old tories. The students also have many photos with conservative members, making it obvious they're trying to get into that scene.

The university and Conservative Party HQ seem to be aware of the seriousness and implications this has.. Why don't you?
Question Author
It's only a mountian our of a mole hill because they're young tories. If these were old labourites hell would be torn into.
Question Author
which is why people need to sort their double standards.
spath, //They're 'young tories' implying one day they will be old tories.//

That doesn't make them aspiring politicians, spath. You're making that up. A fuss over nothing.
Spath, I stood for election at college for the Tory party - doesn't mean I had any intention of becoming a politician - and thinking about all the other candidates didn't either.
Frankly Spath, I have no double standards at all - my opinion would be the same whatever their so called political leanings.

Students being students, if this type of behaviour gets you so wound up then you'll be burnt out before your time.
young trots make more of a mess of things, than these, going on personal experience, and where does it say they are headed for the HoP> they are freshers, having a few pints, it's a total non story. If Con HQ want to admonish them i am sure note will be taken, by these rather immature people.
Question Author
I assume most conservatives and politicians were once in a similar position to these students. They're on the 'path to politics' at the moment.. so, their behaviour should be much more humanitarian and respectful, no?
Spath so were most non politicians! you are seriously making a mountain out of a molehill and twisting it to fit your own agenda!
spath, what does 'on the path to politics' mean? Your claim that they're destined for a career in politics is totally unfounded. What are you talking about?
Spath
Your OP is full of your assumptions and what you say is mostly unsubstantiated nonsence
Are all the members of our local Conservative Club aspiring politicians? No
When they visit the bar are they drunk? Not necessarily.
Are those who post political flyers through your letterbox at election time political aspirants?. No.
For God sake stop making such ridiculous assumptions.
Your point scoring is not credible.
I think spath is trying to say that the NHS is sacrosanct and therefore beyond criticism. I disagree with him.
Spath, some things people do when they are young they wouldn't do when they get older, or something is satirical at the time but later would be frowned upon. There is a photo of my Jewish Mom wearing a satirical Hitler European Tour T shirt in the 80's, and we lost people in the Shoah, but you'd not get her in it now, there's no need to get upset about everything, it's seriously a non event.
