I am generally chastised for the way I construct my headlines, but in no way can Talbot be criticised for his? It points no fingers, which if truths known some of the usual suspects began to get a little jittery about.
I think that Togo managed to get it right when he posted:

/// Don't mention the war. ///

Or should I interpret it?

" Don't mention Islam or Muslims".

Talbot, your first (rather unnecessary) response to me was 'You think it best news of this nature should be ignored (which you could easily have done) Zacs, sj?'

I had made no comment about it being ignored and (as I have said repeatedly) I had seen it on other internet sources.

Your suggestion that i thought it should be ignored was completely nonfactual. It also suggests you thought you were the first person to bring this to everyones' attention.

There does tend to be some strangely ghoulish delight in being the first to post bad news stories on here.

I didn't notice Talbot implying that he was first with the story - but he was the first to bring it to my attention.

Stop being stupid, or carry on... your prerogative.
Talbot often works in Germany. He sees and hears different things to most of us.

I read his posts knowing, after talking to him for many years, that he's not racist, he's not homophobic...etc etc...he's shows concern. And he knows that when someone shows concern they are put down...
So why ask me if i thought news such as this was best ignored?
Zacs, you continue to grind that axe never noticing that it remains blunt. Give it up. This is silly.

Take note of the 'sj' bit (it's not always about you and you only)

It's funny how people can't wait to impart bad news. It never happens with good news. No wonder everyone is suffering from depression.

You haven't answered my question. You mentioned me specifically and asked me whether I thought it best that news such as this be ignored. Why did you do that?
