is she (as she claims) a victim of state sponsored persecution, or a fantacist who should have no place representing constituents in parliament?

My late father hailed from Worcester. I know the place well. Although it is a marginal seat she should give up as none of the Worcester folk I know will vote for her.

Just another sign of how desperate Labour are and a sad reflection on British politics in general.
Nice looking girl, bit dotty, perhaps, wouldn't jump over her to get at you, Jackdaw.

(That's a phrase I owe to a brother-in-law from my first wife)
"In a tweet, Ms Richards said those who made "such taunts" would rather "have women and black people suffer in silence".

As soon as The Card is played I tend to turn off, but as she's played two cards in a very short sentence she deserves to be roundly ignored and I hope the people of Worcester increase the Tory majority.
Her questioning whether the Manchester arena attack and the killing of Jo Cox took place should be enough to keep her away from office.
Hi Mush - you good ?

jesus - yeah if you gonna be mad then be Clea Lee Madd - is that the name she is standing as ?
Erm yes - Manchester as 'flase flag'- there are so many conspriacy theorists that some of them cant spell but still post on the internet. - there are photos of the damage. I dont have much trouble with that, as I used to commute past the blown out windows.

I think her thesis is: no photos, then it didnt happen
which is kinda modern.
The photoshop was closed down after NYPD - yup New York PD leaked photos of the detonator. The hands frequently survive a blast such as this

anyway - certainly a gal to watch !

o dammit... no photos of the damage ^^^ sozza
No, I wouldn’t vote for her, but it’s heartening to read that, at last, someone in the Labour Party recognises a loop when he sees one.
Labour are really beginning to annoy me now. At a time when we need a very strong opposition all we have is Steptoe and his unrealistic and idealistic policies, a bunch of henchmen (momentum) and the left overs from the raving loony party.

When will they pull themselves together and start holding May to account?
While I don't know the background and wont comment on this particular lady, many people in the past were known as "trouble makers" or discredited before later becoming heroes.

Nelson Mandela was put in prison as a terrorist before being released years later as a "hero".

And the suffragettes in the UK were seen as trouble makers and also terrorists (they did use bombs at the time) and they were put in prison and force fed.

Now we are going to erect a statue to a suffragette in London (quite rightly).

I am not saying this lady is going to become a hero, but it is easy to discredit a person by making out they are a bit strange or "loopy".

But she must have presented a creditable image to the people who selected her to stand as an MP (though being Labour maybe not !)
Guilbert53, // it is easy to discredit a person by making out they are a bit strange or "loopy".//

///It emerged on Monday that she questioned, in the aftermath of the Manchester arena bombing last year, whether the attack had even taken place///

Does that not sound a bit strange – or even loopy - to you?
Does she remind you of anyone? like Corby's professor of mathematics?
I would not vote for her ,but it has NOTHING to do with the party she is standing for. She is just a total pr*t .
Can we cope with TWO Diane Abbotts?
completely radio, ideal Labour party material.
Agree, TTT.
she can check Abbot's arithmetic!

//it has NOTHING to do with the party she is standing for.//

this candidate has been nominated by the party, and is the party's prospective parliamentary candidate for Worcester. until and unless the local party decline to endorse the candidate, it has everything to do with the party they are standing for.
I think eddie means that the party she stands for is not the reason he would not vote for her.
