I got my info from a neighbour who is actually one of the managers in a local hospital.
Oh right. We’ll have to agree to differ then.
NO problem ZM. I suppose different health authorities have different set-ups.
Different departments within each hospital even! as I alluded to.
Dave...Rolex....Trump wouldn't know a working health service from a hole in the ground.

Yet another example of his complete and utter ignorance on this, and other subjects. He should keep his nose out of Britain's business.

He should try fixing America's broken and dysfunctional health arrangements....that is what he is paid for, after all.
Dear Donald, can you please get your own House in order first. ok.
Dear Donald, can you please refrain from saying what other people are saying. It makes it very difficult for those determined to disagree with you to disagree with you… and that isn’t conducive to satisfying their need for a daily fix of bile. Thank you.
Naomi....defend Trump again I see !

The NHS has nothing to do with him whatsoever, just as in all the other occasions where he sticks his nose into Britain's business.

His own country has an appalling record on health concerns....millions of his own people have no medical cover because they don't have medical insurance. American people die because they can't afford to get treatment.

The previous administration attempted to address that, but he gone all out to undo all that good work.

I suggest he should stick to solving his own countries problems, rather than stick an oar into ours.
He seems to be saying, the Brits are demonstrating because their health system needs more money, let's not give ours any more.
Mikey, //The NHS has nothing to do with him whatsoever, just as in all the other occasions where he sticks his nose into Britain's business. //

But you're eager to make his country and the way he runs it, not to mention everything else he does and says, your business - and you do it with great relish .... pretty much on a daily basis.

Incidentally, //defend Trump again I see ! //

That exclamation mark (albeit another one that doesn't seem to know quite where it should be) indicates something like alarm and is really surplus to requirements.
Naomi....you and Farage should stop supporting Trump with every daft thing that they say, and you should be supporting Britain and the NHS instead.
Mikey, //you should be supporting Britain and the NHS instead. //

What makes you think I'm not?

Fact ism had anyone else said what Trump said you'd have been agreeing - and blaming the Conservative government - but because it's Trump you don't do that. You attack him instead. Missed opportunity there, Mikey. ;o)
Let's get one thing straight as to the US. Even allowing for Bam-bam care and Trump-dumps, the US private system is collapsing - my ex puts it succinctly, 'I now pay double for a half of what we used to get when you were here.'

Maybe, maybe you shouldn't have divorced me but, more seriously, a damning indictment of what's happening over there.
Well said DTC......Trump should be trying to sort his own mess out......not sticking his nose into Britains problems.
some things of the NHS my daughter (half US and half Brit) can't believe - other than Doctor Psycho (Misogynist unbelievable) in Treliske's gastric.....
Mikey, no surprise you're ignoring my post. Truth has a propensity to hurt.
I would say, in balance, no system is perfect (like bidding at bridge), the best that I have seen in all my travels and residence overseas, the French and Canadian.....
yeah university cack-up last night they had
' and no one sould be denied medical care as a result of ....'
baaaarp ! the priddy girl identified this with Nye Bevan

The uninsured in the Land of the free is 28 m which is 10% of the population - scary ! what happens to the kids by the way ?
Renal Dialysis is not insurable -- so goddam expensive and so it is federally financed and costs more n £100 bn - more than the cost of our NHS
( figures may be old )
depends on how you look at it presumably

// my daughter (half US and half Brit) can't believe - other than Doctor Psycho (Misogynist unbelievable) in Treliske's gastric.....//

if Dr Psycho is that bad - madame should complain
as a Brit Dr she will be able to lob her complaints int the right quarter.

My dear late mother's comment about the local Launcelot Sprat was - "I dont care how rude he is - can he do the operation ?"
// but because it's Trump you don't do that. You attack him instead.//
valid point - first observed in the White House apparently. Suggest X to POTUS and he is very likely to say - "you know what? I'm gonna do Y!"
the white house share croppers/ coolies have a phrase for it
defiance discrimination or something
