When was this?

I get the impression it was before the German elections.

Either way as usual he talks sense. But I am sure someone will be along soon to say how it isn't possible to be sensible about a trade deal.
Beatrix von Storch...

The grand daughter of Lutz von Krosigk, Hitler’s Finance Minister during World War II and prominent Nazi.

He and his ministry were involved in the persecution of German and European Jews, including by stealing their property, and laundering money.

At the 1949 Ministries Trial, he was convicted of war crimes and sentenced to 10 years in jail.

Must be in the genes.
One should start 4 to 5 minutes in when the niceties are done.
Nigel, as always, tells it like it is.

Gromit, anything to say about the interview, or are you just choosing to have a whoosh moment?

Gromit; You've put up some stupid posts in your time, but this has to be a prizewinner! What on earth has Beatrix's grandfather got to do with the OP, or anything else for that matter?

Naomi,
I’ve got better things to do than listen to Farage for 12 and a half minutes.
Gromit, if you don't listen how do you know whether you agree with him or not?
for reasons unknown i can't get it to play..
Basically, em, it says the EU has left it too late to modify, the push is towards greater union which is why we're leaving, we wish to be good neighbours, we're vital to Germany's economy so trade barriers should remain low, German politicians are avoiding that issue as they need to show support for the EU line simultaneously with pleasing German industry.
lol are you seriously suggesting none of us know what Farage thinks of the EU unless we keep listening.
What's the new angle this time: The EU is responsible for causing terminal diseases, J-C Juncker is a Martian....
As for Baroness von Himmler or whatever her name is, it is true that I have not had the pleasure, so to speak, but I daresay she's not telling us the EU is the future hope for mankind.
i got it to play early this morning, now its refusing to play back, ummm
ichkeria, that interview in particular is pretty succinct. Where do you think he is wrong?
" the EU has left it too late to modify"

for a start. That it his opinion. But he was never interested in it reforming anyway.

It's all to do with fish, you see: Nigel is a keen fisherman to put it mildly, and that is probably a key reason why he hates the EU and its fisheries policy. I can't say I blame him on that score.
And Michael Gove reckons the EU ruined his dad's fish business.
You have to travel far and wide to find a fishmonger these days. I live 1/2 mile from the High Street. The nearest fishmonger is 8 miles away the only one in the very busy neighbouring town, which is also a fishing port.
//Question Author Gromit; You've put up some stupid posts in your time, but this has to be a prizewinner! Like someone else said does it matter what someone's parents were. Also, NF didn't mention fish but he was right that the EU will never reform or will the ever be democratic.

I can't see any indication that it wants to, or is attempting to reform. Can you?
