That was your - and the first - response to your very own question. Your use of an exclamation mark makes it obvious that you are expressing some doubt as to whether he succeeded in “fixing” the Middle East.
My point is that his remit had nothing whatsoever to do with his achieving any such objective. It’s rather silly, isn’t it, to accuse someone of failing in some task when no one had asked him to do it?
Or would it be OK for me to claim that YOU’RE not making much of a job of leading the Tory party at the moment?
