I wonder what the Daily Mail would do without trivia stories like this ?

Moan even more abut the immigrants I suppose.

Sqad.......Harry is just a minor member of the Royal Family, albeit a very likeable one ! I like him and an evening spent in his company in a Pub somewhere would, no doubt, to very memorable.

But he will never be King and I am not really sure if it really matters who he walks up the aisle of Westminster Cathedral with.

It didn't seem to concern anybody when his Uncle Andy married that toe-sucking species of Wisteria, Sarah Ferguson in 1986.

I didn't know that Sarah Ferguson was of mixed race.

mikey - I hate to be pedantic, but it was not Ms Ferguson who was guilty of the famous toe-sucking scenario, she was, if one may be so bold, the suckee on this occasion.
Or a sucker !!!!!!
Andy you certainly go for a 'type' don't you, as I suspect lots of people do?

With me it was usually the wrong type.
But Sqad....what difference would it make if a minor Royal WERE to marry a person of mixed race ? He isn't heir to the throne, nor ever likely to be.

This isn't 1953, when racism was rife in the UK. Its the 21st Century. As long as they are happy and in love, then I am happy for them........should we all be happy as well ?
I've never heard of her, but I don't agree that he's 'just a minor member of the Royal Family'.

"minor Royal" the clue is in the name....ROYAL and if he married Ms Markle she would be a princess, as he is a prince.
Now this monarchical nomenclature may not mean much to you and indeed many others, but to me it is important.
If this goes on, then who knows, they may allow women into the Athenaeum Club or worse still......into my club.
Sqad..bet there are women in your club doing all the dirty stuff though !!! lol..

but I agree do not think this will ever be sanctioned by "The Firm "
Lol, sqad. That reminds me of some fusty old goat shocked at the thought of women being admitted to Lord's - I think it was Lord's. "Women allowed in? They'll be letting in dogs next."

I know you were just joking, though :)
She's just a fling - he won't marry her !
Cloverjo.......;-)
Question Author
ladybirder - I do go for a 'type' - you are quite correct.

Here's my latest major crush - Erin McCarley - I met her on Friday evening.

Schwing!
But Sqad....I repeat....why does her mixed race background prevent her from being married to Harry ? he is hardly as black as the aces of spades is she, not that it would matter if she was !

So, is because she is Canadian, or is that she is mixed race that so offends you ?
For he above please read she !
He's begging for me of course.but as a good Catholic Girl I turned him away..broken hearted of course..poor Harry
Andy you are a serial drooler ??? poor Mrs H ..what she has to endure !! all that washing
I wouldn’t have thought her being of mixed race an issue, but her history as an actress having played raunchy scenes could well be.
Question Author
murraymints - fear not, I wear a daily bib, which I wash myself, I would not inflict the side-effects of my infantile fantasising on my wonderful wife - she has quite enough to put up with already!
Yes she fits the pattern, like Carla. May I ask does the present Mrs Hughes fit the pattern?
