Now that BRexit has been achieved, will we see the BLUE passport again? I should say so, but no doubt all those 'orrible red ones must be dished out first.

I hope so. I have about 3 cancelled old British passports in Black/Gold. I bought a replica leather passport holder for the awful common EU passport. It always pee'd off immigration at Passport control. :-)
I was just going to say, treat yourself to a cover until a suitable replacement comes along.

There are many others to choose from.

I really hope so
hope so too, and get their useless flag of nothing off my drivers licence
Brexit had not been achieved. Brexit will be achieved some time after it has been triggered, and it has not even been triggered yet.
We discussed this on AB recently but I am far too tired to go looking for the thread.
Thanks Mamy...it just be the one !
I doubt it.
For everyone under 60 the Colour of passport are red. Existing passports will be valid for 10 years, so they will not have two different colours in circulation at the same time.
does it really mater about whats on the front or its colour it gets used by most peolpe 2/3 times a year (if that) not like it's needed for shopping ?
I suppose not, Ivor.....but I love my passport being tucked inside a beautiful, green leather cover bearing a silver harp........♣
When I first got a red passport, I was also given back the old black/gold one with a corner snipped off. Since I also had another old passport, I trimmed off a matching corner-piece of it and cunningly combined the two to create a whole blue one. Sure, it's only a 'cover' for the red one, but I feel it looks much more authentic than the leather ones people buy.
Black, not blue!
I would love to have the old, blue passports back again - they looked impressive. I've just sent off my French driving licence to DVLA to swap it for a British one before the rush starts! I had been going to leave it until I had do something about it when I reached 70.

So remind me Gromit, what happened when they changed from Blue to Red?
^^^ Ditto, 'black' not blue!
I don't know where Gromit gets the under 60 bit from. All passports are red as they are on valid for ten years and the blue ones were discontinued over twenty years ago.
^^ only
So I was right 1st time! I got confused and thought I must have been wrong,
