Would al; the brexiters be running around like headless chickens trying to find ways we could ignore a democratic decision by the people? I for one said before that I would accept it, yes I'd moan a bit but I would not be running round hysterically trying to reverse the decision. Remainiacs, you lost, get over it.

What a country of snivelling, whinging, pathetic, cry baby jerks we seem to have become. Well, 48% of the country.

Still no concrete answers I see.
As you will know the country has won a referendum, an obligation on the politicians to extract ourselves from an external controlling group, the future right to control our own country when it all goes through, and the experience of coping with the small cost of dropping backwards a few months on the markets for a while and realising it wasn't as big a deal as some liked to make out at the time.

Or you could try 3 of sand, 1 of cement.
A democratic decision is the will of the majority. So brexiter would accept it.
THIS brexiter even!
Fine words OG but still no answer to my question.
We'll have to disagree about that. I thought I'd stated the gains. They arise when the process is done. Meanwhile we're simply paying the "bill".
Zacs-Master, why doesn't OG's response answer your question? We have won the ability to make our own laws, to form our own trade agreements worldwide, and to control our own borders – in short freedom. Is that not enough for you?
I voted to leave & I stand by it, what did the lads in WW1 / 2 / die for? to be ruled by the country they won or by unnelectic clowns, life goes on, get on with it.
DITTO

I suspect the side that came second (it's unfair to keep calling them losers) will be bemoaning their fate for a long while yet, we'll just have to put up with them while they get used to it, losing that is!

zacs:"So come on then give us a few examples of what it is we've won. " - probably an incomprehensible answer to you but it is one word:
FREEDOM
TWR - you had better get rid of the House of Lords then....
not really an issue DT..sometimes The Lords is the voice of reason when the House gets carried away ! and good solid UK tradition and history..although I am no supporter of hereditary peerage...

they won as well Balders, they are just having a more difficult time seeing it at the moment.
DTC, //you had better get rid of the House of Lords then.... //

True they are unelected. We do, however, know who they are. Who's ruling you?
Svejk, re the petition:

"
Oh, and more support has flooded in from the Vatican. 40,000 last time I looked."

Clearly you haven't looked recently, as there are only 79 signatories from the Vatican as of this morning (and on Sunday afternoon there were only 44).
One reform at a time. The upper house has been on the To Do list a while now.
DT, I would for sure get rid of the sheep & put their wages into the NHS / Schools / anything that's worth the money.
Naomi 'We have won the ability to make our own laws, to form our own trade agreements worldwide, and to control our own borders – in short freedom'

Have you.......really? I can see zero evidence of you winning anything yet, or for the forseeable future.
