It seems the bookies are having second thoughts. Get your bets on now before OUT becomes odds-on.
OOT OOT OOT !
Jackdaw - where did you get your info about the clamp-down on exit polls, please? I've searched, to no avail.. Feeling smuggish because my £20 is looking safer and the bottle of champagne and good meal out have come into the 'possible' range. Fingers firmly crossed................'Many a slip, twixt the cup and the lip'. :)
so biased that it isn't true - and when you look at all the polls, isn't it funny that all the on-line ones show Brexit in a good light and all the phone ones (more independently selected) show a spread from 53 to nearly 70%. Odd that.....and then look at the bookies odds for confirmation.
there's been a slight tightening but, across the board, it's still an average of 2 to 1 on for Remain, or there or there abouts.

I mentioned a ban on Exit Polls @ 1151 here

And to be fair Mikey agreed with me @ 11:59
I agree on that Baldric - and our polls ought to reflect the amount of bias in them....I can go down the pub tonight and find two drinkers who actually like creme de menthe, but then why should we have the Pope's liqueur pushed down our throats, even though visitors like mikey may like it. Remember statistics so easily lie....and, unfortunately, that is what is happening in this pseudo-referendum.
one of those on-line surveys that are so biased, tony......."I'm a Telegraph reader and that is what I vote - forget all the rest."
I think the 'Remains' have increased since the last poll. The last comment was on Tuesday. Have people stopped voting in this poll?
No. I just did. It's not registered yet though.
Has now though.
Don't know if the poll's still open. I'm not bothered about any increase in the REMAIN vote as long as it stays under 50%!
Oh good. I thought it had come to a halt.
Question Author
It's still open.
Me too. The bookies must move in different circles to me as I have yet to meet a REMAIN voter.
'I have yet to meet a REMAIN voter.'
Nah....you've yet to meet somone who ADMITS to voting remain because of the aggressive stance of the Brexiters.
Zacs-Master

Obviously you didn't witness Geldof's aggressive stance on the Thames?
Seriously Zacs-Master, A-O-G has a point here. Looking at that footage of the confrontation on the Thames (Geldof screaming and giving V-signs in public) it occurred to me that, had he possessed a gun at that moment, he could well have used it on Nigel Farage. Naked fury and aggression. I thought better of him.

No-one is aggressive around here, earnest discussions are taking place - apart from 2 v. left-wingers (Remain) who try to dominate and get a bit loud in the pub. People are really tackling things the correct (perhaps a bit old-fashioned) way.
