I was walking across the garden today when to my surprise lying ion the ground as appearing from nowhere was this rounded shape piece of what looked like metal but on closer inspection it looked quite pouris weighty aye for its size about 2 inches long 1.5 inches around it a widest point tapering down to inch .could it be part of a

I think a meteorite that size would be in quite a sizeable hole where it landed rather than just be lying on the ground.
